Is WP Socializer ready for public access yet?
Thanks,

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] W3 Total Cache Conflict Since Converting to HTTPS@nigro.simone Sorry, only just seen your reply. No I haven’t checked that option – didn’t realise I had that setting. I’ll report back here if that works. Here’s hoping! Thanks a lot, I really appreciate your input! π

In reply to: [Growmap Anti Spambot Plugin] Help! My site is once again beset my spamJust for your information, Andy, the comments I am still getting are definitely spam bot comments – the usual ludicrous, spun crap.
Actually, I’m only getting about 20 a day but that is 20 more than I was getting before this ‘new wave’ and still enough to bother my inbox!
I’m thinking of reinstalling deleting and reinstalling one more time (with W3 Total Cache) disabled (which I am 99% certain I did when I updated the plugin).
Do you think that is worth a try?

In reply to: [Growmap Anti Spambot Plugin] Help! My site is once again beset my spamAndy,
I really appreciate the work you’ve put in on this but I’ve updated to the new version but it’s made no difference.
What am I doing wrong?

In reply to: [Growmap Anti Spambot Plugin] Help! My site is once again beset my spamJust to add to the conversation, in the last 6 weeks I have been experiencing a dramatic increase in trackback spam and now, in the last week or so, comment spam.
I have only just (i.e. today) upgraded to WP v3.6 so this was ‘apparently’ nothing to do with the upgrade as the spam is still coming.
I was using an older version of G.A.S.P. but have also today installed the latest version (1.2) to see if that helped. It didn’t, the spam is still coming in droves.
Any input from Andy Bailey and the G.A.S.P. team would be appreciated.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Minify Conflicts With Gravity FormsYes, I tried enabling html and xml only but I still get the problem with the form.
An instructional video would be a good idea so hopefully you’ll post a link to it here.
Thanks again, Bryan π

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Minify Conflicts With Gravity FormsThanks very much for taking the time to reply so concisely once again.
Unfortunately, what you describe is way above my head and beyond my capabilities – and I fear do more harm than good.
I guess this is just one I’ll have to put up with for now.
I will copy your replies to the Gravity Forms forum though in case anyone else has the same problem as me and can use your advice to better advantage than I can.
Thanks again for helping out, you are a star. π

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] Minify Conflicts With Gravity FormsThanks a lot for helping out!
Unfortunately, I’ve no idea HOW to enter the files and WHAT files to not include.
I tried enabling the inline CSS and JS minification.
I also tried entering /contact/ into the Advanced>Never minify the following pages section. ( the form is on http://www.mysite.com/contact – i assumed entering just /contact/ was right)But I still get the problem.
So, if you don’t mind helping out one more time, can you tell me,
after setting minify to manual WHERE would I enter the files that I
do want included and WHAT files would I want included so that
everything is minified whilst not affecting the gravity form?Or is there an option to specify files that I DON’T want included.
Thanks again, it’s very much appreciated.

In reply to: I Can't Enable Comments On Blog PostsWish I could help you out but I can’t.
I’m sure and I hope you’ll manage to get it sorted sooner or later.
If for some reason you don’t, you could consider what I was going to do (and actually still probably will anyway).
You could integrate your blog with Facebook (and Twitter) using http://www.livefyre.com/.
I have it on good authority that this is the best way to integrate Facebook comments (oppoesed to other plugins) as you keep ownership of all the comments on your own datebase.
Quote from Nakeva (Head of Community at Livefyre),
……….. we write all comments back to the WordPress database so you own the data, and we have deep integration with Facebook and Twitter. We are all about giving your users more options for commenting while giving you total control of the conversation.
Again, good luck!

In reply to: I Can't Enable Comments On Blog PostsWill,
I have resolved my issue but I’m not sure it will help you.
The one thing I’d failed to do was uncheck the ‘hide comments’
in the Content ‘Leaf’ of the blog index. If you are not familiar with Headway, Headway Leafs give you control over the visual placement and dimensions of page content. There is also (as I have recently discover) the ability to show or hide comments on individual leafs.
I’ve no idea about WPFolio but ‘maybe’ there is a similar function?
If you’ve not managed to sort it yet, I wish you all the best with it as I know too well how frustrating it is!
Good luck!
