At this moment I tried it with the 2015-theme and without any plugin (besides EM of course): map not available.
My favourite theme is one of the responsive & professionel themes of elmastudio.de (Dorayaki).
And I want to use about 6 well known plugins (contactform7, jetpack, wp-members, responsive slider, widgets on pages) – at other installations with the same plugins were no problems.
I´m not 100% sure with my API-adjustments, but they seems to be right.
Have you another solution?

we have the same problem since a few weeks (the last wp-update?).
Before always the featured- / article-image was published at Facebook, that was perfect.
I have no idea about “open Graph” and therefore I not really understand your answer above, sorry.
Perhaps you can take a look to both sites?

the same problem: I have a new domain and the short-URL doesn´t work at twitter. Disconnect & connect to wordpress.com don´t solve the problem.

the fade-function of the plugin make no trouble at my local XAMPP-installation. but online the same theme with the same plugin-settings stops after the 2nd from eight images.
your suggestion to delete some code (margin: 0; padding: 0;
overflow: hidden; etc.) change nothing, it still stops after the second image.any idea? thank you very much!
