@kubitomakita , no luck. I even disabled acf and still get the notifications twice (a second after the minute has gone by). It’s as if the entire wp-cron runs twice. A full batch on users get the first email, then it starts a second time.
@kubitomakita , Im using the gutenberg editor. Is there any way to resolve this while still using the cron background processing?
Ruled out ACF and CPT. It only happens with cron enabled. Using POST SMTP to wire up emails, but even with that turned off if fires twice.
@voltronik , understood. Thanks. The site is a documentation forum with multiple users logged into the site from the same ip address. The focus was to track when each article is updated by which user. I’ll keep digging into it as well and keep my eyes on this thread.
Hey @voltronik , sorry. Yes. It seemed to be working properly prior to upgrading to 5.7 from 5.6
He @voltronik , it seems that all the shortcodes display the last editing user instead of most recent. If I log in, updated a post, all of the user shortcodes point and display the editor previous to me editing the post.
