This is awesome, thanks! However, we would need more detailed Info, or better even the option to show, what exactly was changed. My idea (or what I think would make our clients happy): the list item in the metabox would stay as is in your screenshot, with “Updated post “Hello world!”” but then maybe add a “see changes”-link that links to the Revisions panel of the update you clicked on.

We have several clients in the publishing industry that use WordPress and I think many of them will be interested in that.I get it, thanks for the feedback, I’ll check back with the client and we can add that as a feature request. Thanks for helping out!

Sure yeah I am in the MailPoet editor (the regular one, not alpha).
This is not when we add posts but when we create a newsletter manually.

No it’s not. However, we renamed all the Categories, so I am not sure if it ever was.
But we suppress the category being added via the database (Changed the parameter ‘default_category’ to 0 in the ‘wp_options’ table.)
If I disable your plugin, it works as it did before and as it does on every other WP-Site… When I enable the plugin, the category is added.
I am not sure if it has something to do with our Permission Groups. Tell me if you need backend-access, I’ll be happy to provide it someway 🙂
