Can’t believe it. It worked. Thank you so much.

    Hi again,

I was told by the theme’s author that I can fix it by prioritizing the plugin’s function that is responsibile for calling the filter by specifying a priority number (hopefully I got it right). Now unfortunately I’m not a developer, so I’m not sure what to do here. The only thing I’ve tried is changing the plugin priority in the general options, which is 9999 by default.

Setting any single digit number makes the plugin stop working though, meaning that no block appears on the frontend.

Hi and thank you for your reply.

I added that additional parameter to the shortcode, though while it worked around the issue on affected posts, posts where blocks were fine in the first place had a negative count, so I removed it for now.

I have no idea what triggers the filter multiple times since I didn’t incorporate any unusual element on those pages/posts where it happens. The only pattern is that the longer the post is, the higher is the chance it happens and the higher the number the counter starts from is.

Thank you again. One last thing: I tried excluding from the count all paragraphs using “wp-caption-text” as CSS class, in order to prevent results like the one in the picture from happening too frequently (that is, the block appearing in between the image and its caption text).

Such rule seems to be ignored by the plugin though, as the placeholder keeps appearing right under the caption text in a article structured as follows:

    [Paragraph 1]

    [Paragraph 2]

    [Paragraph 3]

In this case it’s supposed to appear under paragraph 3, not the caption. You can also check it on this example page.

Here’s how I set it up. I also tried typing .wp-caption-text alternatively, but it won’t work either.

Thank you for letting me know. By the way, is there a way to intentionally make the counter start from a certain number?

Thank you! Now it works. May I ask you though why it starts with n.2, skipping <div id="eadv-in-content-1" class="eadv-in-content"></div>?

Ok, let me know what I did wrong. Unfortunately I couldn’t find anything related to the use of the [ADINSERTER counter=”N”] in the documentation, this is why it’s still not clear to me how to set it properly. I apologize.

I included the following code in the block, I set it to be inserted after every 3 parapraphs, starting from parapgraph 1. I expect to see <div id="eadv-in-content-1">, <div id="eadv-in-content-2">, <div id="eadv-in-content-3">… and so on being placed automatically until the end of the post. Through Inspect mode though I see all the codes appear as <div id="eadv-in-content-">.

You can go to this page to check it out.

Hi, thank you for answering. From my understanding, the options you indicated work only when the number of ads to insert is pre-determined. In my case, however, they vary depending on the post’s length. So for example, in a brief newsarticle there might be 2-3 in-content ads, whereas a long post could contain more than 15 of them, with the last sample code being <div id="ad-15">.

I tried using <div id="ad-[ADINSERTER counter='N']"> thinking “N” would function as a variable, but I figured it’s not meant to be a number that automatically progresses, which is what would fulfill my goal. Besides, I’m surely missing something but I can’t get the [ADINSERTER counter="..."] shortcode to work in general. I even did a test including an actual number but it always comes out as <div id="ad-">. I made sure to tick “Shortcodes” from the options.

From what I understood, that would be because I have to ask for consent for the purpose of Contacting users, although it’s just a request/support form. Also, the Complianz option to automatically block it was enabled by default, which made me think even more that it’s a necessity.

Thank you again for your reply.

I’m still having troubles blocking Contact Form 7 before consent, despite having the Complianz option switched on. Any idea on why it happens? Maybe I need to add it too to the script center, just like Disqus?

    Thread Starter simsworldit

    (@simsworldit)

Thank you for your answer. Disqus is now properly blocked before consent.

As for the cookies, Google Fonts and reCaptcha were already unselected in the “Services” section, but they still appear in the results.

To be precise, this is what I get after the first scan (i.e. mostly functional cookies)

    ONESIGNAL_HTTP_PROMPT_SHOWN

    wordpress_test_cookie

    wp-settings-1

    wp-settings-time-1

    _ga

    _gid

    wordpress_logged_in

This is what I get after I go to “Cookie description”, wait for the plugin to sync with CookieDatabase, and go back to “Cookie scan”. While some cookies are indeed supposed to appear as I selected the relative services (e.g. YouTube, Twitch ect), that shouldn’t be the case for “Google Fonts API” and all cookies relating to reCaptcha.

Hi and thank you for your reply. I’ve just realized I needed to log out of my admin panel for the Contact Form to (almost) properly work.

So basically now it does show the feedback when everything goes as planned (“Thank you for contacting us”), but in case there’s an error the feedback rectangle is empty and you have to refresh the page for the message to appear.

Hi and thank you for your reply. A few days after I started this thread, an update for Soledad Theme came out and it luckily addressed the issue. It seems the problem was on their end.

Since I already have many caching systems on my site (static caching, dynamic caching, leverage chaching), I don’t want to enable WordPress Cache too.

I looked into wp-postviews.php and ‘use_ajax’ is set to 1 in $options array. Does this mean AJAX requests are working?
