If this is an option for you I can give you adminstrative access to the WP page where the slideshows are no longer working proplery ?
Do you offer scheduled remote sessions ? This way I could do it step by step, sharing my desktop with you so you can see what happens. In general I receive the message “slideshow saved” and /or “slideshow title updated” and after reloading the page the old title shows up again. This only happens when using an umlaut in the title, changing a non-umlaut containing title with another one without umlauts works instantly.
Sure, the site language in WordPress is set to German (home of the umlauts) and I´m using MetaSlider 3.29.1 along with MetaSlider Lightbox 1.13.1
Steve, thanks for your fast answer. I don´t receive an error message, I can change the title of a gallery using umlauts but when I press “save” the new title is gone. As an example: when I write “….. Düsseldorf” it will not be saved, when I substitute the “ü” for “ue” and type “…. Duesseldorf” the title will be saved.

This way you can upgrade to WP 5.6 (and higher in the future), this problem will be permanentely solved. Maybe new issues will show up with future WP versions but I´m pretty sure they can be solved as well.- This reply was modified 5 years, 4 months ago by singlecoil.

#header-2 { display: none; }
Take care to not put any blanks or other twaddle into this line, otherwise it will not work. Copy/Paste will work best
I makes me really sad to see whats going on with Inkhive, some years ago they offered excellent support and service. I contacted them several times and they always served me like a paying customer within a very short time, never caring about the fact that I use the free theme on my webpage.

<h1 class=”menu-toggle” style=”display: block;”>Menu</h1>When replacing the word “Menu” with a blank or simply delete it the problem is gone. As soon as I have some time on my hands I will look for a permanent solution adding some code to the Additional CSS section of the theme and post it here so you will have a quick and easy fix.

In reply to: [Fifteen] Don’t use this themeThat´s a shame, I have very good experiences with the Inkhive support team but this is two years ago. I updated to 1.1 in the past and my webpage looked like a disaster 🙁 The theme had changed completely and most functions that were the reasons why I decided to use it didn´t work anymore. So I rolled back to 1.0.0.8 and never touched it again, it still works under WP 5.6 and I´m more than happy with it. If you want to take a look: http://www.singlecoil-guitars.com
