In reply to: [Events, Calendars & Tickets - Event Kikfyre] Shortcode?Dear Sir/Madam:
RE: PLUGIN – KICKFYRE EVENT REGISTRATION TOOL KIT
SHORTCODE IN EVENTS PAGE NOT WORKING
NO TEXT FIELD IN TICKETS MANAGER TO ENTER INFO ABOUT TICKET SALE
(I’m using WordPress version 4.7.3)I have completed all the fields in the various sections of Kickfyre e.g. Add Event, Venues & Locations, Ticket Manager, Bookings. However, they do not display on the event page of the website. I noticed that Kickfyre created an events page with a shortcode [em_events]
When I view this Events page, I get an error message on the page that states: “Sorry…
Sorry, no events matched your criteria”. Nothing else is displayed on the Events pageAlso, on the Tickets Manager, there is no text field that allows me to enter information about the ticket sale, such as ticket date and address of event, price price, etc. It is actually already populated with the wrong info. I thought maybe the info I added in the Venues & Locations section would be imported to populate the ticket that’s created by the Tickets Manager, but that does not happen.
The “Event Types” page is the only page where the shortcode works and it displays as it should.
Could it be because I am using WordPress version 4.7.3 and maybe Kickfyre is not compatible with this version?
Please, could you help resolve the issue?
Thanks!

Managed to get back to the admin panel! Awaiting your instructions for how to use the Custom CSS and the above code! Also, I’ve started another website using the Ascent Theme (I told you I really like this Theme!), and things are going a lot smoother this time round – thanks to your wonderful suggestions!
I’m wondering though how to manipulate the:
(i) Sidebar menus? Last time I didn’t need to use them, so I was more concerned with “how to delete them”? This time, I do want them, but don’t know how to use or access them! Any suggestions?
(ii) Footer Menu, so I can add a copyright and a trade-mark symbol with “All Rights Reserved” message?

Thank you for the suggestion. I didn’t get an e-mail this time, so I didn’t realize you had responded!
I have downloaded the Custom CSS and activated, it but I’m not sure how to use it.
I clicked on “edit” to bring up the codes, but I’m not sure which of the associated files to add the above code to. I first tried putting the above code in the Custom CSS php files, and got an error message and totally de-activated the Custom CSS plug-in; then I tried the Custom CSS admin files, and that totally took me off the system so I cannot get back in to the WordPress admin!
Clearly, I am not dong this right! Any suggestions? I’m sorry, but please may I have line by line instructions? Though I have to first figure out how to get back in!
Thanks!

Thank you so much for the information! I really appreciate your taking the time. I will try it and let you know how it goes.
Since you’ve seen my website, please can you tell me how I can change the font of the navigation names at the top of the website pages? I’d like them all to fit in one line. I also want to reduce the font because they seem a bit big in relation to my logo that I just uploaded! Any suggestions would be appreciated! My website is:

Thanks for getting back to me. I have changed the Theme from Ascent to AccessPress Lite because I did not hear back and was unable to resolve the issue. The AccessPress Lite banner is more business focused and more in line with my business, and I was able to find a way to modify it.
But I do like the Ascent Theme, and would like to know how I can manipulate it so as to REPLACE the banner. I want to replace it rather than add another banner because I like the current LOCATION of the default banner.
I have downloaded Custom CSS, but I’m afraid I do not know how to use it. If you are able to walk me through it, I would appreciate it. I mean, do I need to know coding to use it? And if so, please can you give me the right codes to use so as to replace the current banner and install my own?
Thanks!

In reply to: [Wordpress-Banner] How To Replace Default Ascent BannerHello,
I checked out your suggestion on the link at:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wp-banner/It doesn’t really help me to figure out how to REPLACE the default banner that came with the Ascent Theme.
I had no problem bringing my newly created banner into WordPress using the Banner effect plugin and software. However, as I explained above the process just ADDED another banner (at the topmost part of the header) instead of replacing the default banner.
I guess I am looking for a TARGETED WAY OF BRINGING IN THE NEW BANNER SO IT ENDS UP AT A SPECIFIC LOCATION ON THE HEADER INSTEAD OF JUST ANYWHERE ON THE HEADER AREA! But more specifically, I just want to replace the current default banner with my own banner. Is there a way to specify where the new banner should go when it’s being imported into WordPress?
Thanks!

In reply to: Size of Header Banner for Ascent ThemeHello,
I just created a banner using Banner Effect software and followed the instructions to import it into WordPress. However, what I wanted was to have it REPLACE the banner in the Ascent Theme, but it ended up being inserted on top of my website IN ADDITION TO THE ASCENT BANNER!
Please how can I delete it and have it REPLACE the banner that currently came with the Ascent Theme?

Thank you so much for the info, much appreciated!
skemdirHello,
I added the suggested code to the custom CSS plugin, it may have corrected my navigation buttons problem as they are now back in one straight (single) line and not over two lines!
However, the Ascent copyright still shows on the Footer.
Thanks!
Hello,
Can I just add it to the page that opens when I hit the “edit” button on the plugin? And any particular spot on the page of codes?
Thanks!
OK, thanks! I’ve installed and activated it on the WordPress Dashboard. How do I use it to add the coding you suggested?
Thanks!
