After a few days of looking around, I found this thread, which didn’t really solve my issue, as I host my website on my own VPS. I added the <Directory> code to my .htaccess in my wp root folder, without success, even after a service restart and a reboot.
Does anyone have any more help on this?Regards.

I have already checked in a info.php file that I created on my server, and it stated that mod_rewrite was loaded for apache2handler.Could it be something else?
