I tried deactivating it and it wouldn’t deactivate. So I deleted it from the file manager and reinstalled but same issue. I deleted all 3 plugins via the file manager (extra, product and social sharing) but still the same issue after I re-install. What is going on?
I am not a pro user. These two extensions were installed when I imported the demo content. And these extensions are free so I am not sure why I need to be a pro user to use them. I just want those messages gone!

In reply to: [OceanWP] Demo import not displaying correctlyTo add, the content is there, it’s the Elementor view that’s messed up. I also tried on a brand new sub domain with no unrelated plugins installed and still the same result

That works. No more empty space. Thanks for the speedy resolution 🙂
https://packs.socialvector.co.uk/browse/Yes I am comfortable with adding custom CSS. Thank you for looking into this 🙂
I’ve set it show 2. 3 would have been ideal but the purchase buttons overlapped when viewed on a phone or tablet.
Yes both sites are using the same theme
Activated 2019 and the issue wasn’t present so looks like it’s the theme.
Here’s a link.
https://packs.socialvector.co.uk/browse/I have tried it on 2 separate sites. The first site I actually configured the blocks on my page. In the link above, I already had the [downloads] shortcode on the page showing correct;y. All I have done is download and activate the Blocks plugin and you can see the first cell is empty.
I have seen that article and it refers to cancelling as a merchant. I’m asking whether the subscribed member can do it via the delete account function. Which is not addressed in that article unless I have misread.

In reply to: [Simple Membership] Users can register without paying for a paid membershipSorry for the delayed response. Yes removing the parameter worked.

In reply to: [Simple Membership] Users can register without paying for a paid membershipFrom the link you sent, I followed a hyperlink to this page which I think has answered my query. As I mentioned earlier in my step by step response, the shortcode for the form on the page is swpm_registration_form level=4] – level 4 is the paid member level.
According to the info on the link, if you specify a level in the form shortcode, it allows registration without payment.
So will the solution here be to remove the level in my shortcode?
Also would this resolve the mailchimp issue as you’ve put that on hold because of this?Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Simple Membership] Users can register without paying for a paid membershipI am confused by the troubleshooting steps. It seems to be referring to the email users get after paying with the link to register but I am not paying. I am just going straight to the registration page.
Anyways I have created the Paypal button. But I can still register via the Registration page, activate my account and access protected content without clicking the Payment button on the Join Us page.

In reply to: [Simple Membership] Users can register without paying for a paid membershipCan I add, my issue is not with the STRIPE payment button. I only mentioned testing Stripe payments because that is the reason I tried to bypass that page.
The issue is that if someone does the Registration Page url, it appears they can register and bypass the payment button because they haven’t started from the Join Us page. I would expect the plugin to know that payment is required for that level and not activate the membership until payment is done.
2. When testing mailchimp on a completely different site to the one I am setting up now using a different plugin, I came across the issue where I registered with an email, deleted the subscriber in mailchimp but further registrations with the same email did not work. After troubleshooting I found out that is safer to use a fresh email every time as deleting a subscriber from mailchimp doesn’t appear to necessarily allow the email to be used again. Maybe it was just a quirk of the plugin i was testing but I don’t use the same email twice to register when testing.

In reply to: [Simple Membership] Users can register without paying for a paid membershipSTRIPE shortcode displayed on Manage Payment Screen in the WP Membership:[swpm_payment_button id=2374]
STRIPE code used on my Join Us page: [swpm_payment_button id=2374 button_text=”SUBSCRIBE”]
The 2 ids are the same.
Hi,
I am not sure whether you misread my responses
1. I have already said that I copied and pasted the list name to avoid any mistakes. I checked for trailing spaces too
2. The email address has not been used to sign up to mailchimp before. I encountered this issue when testing in Mailchimp so I am aware of this
3. I have already checked the spam/junk folders and nothing.
I also stated the debug entries which says it can’t find the list which is false as I copy and pasted it. Shame I can’t provide a screenshot of the list in Mailchimp[01/27/2019 8:20 PM] – SUCCESS: [MailChimp] Doing list signup.
