I’m afraid you didn’t get the question/problem.

The issue is not on the category page, but on the level of the article. It’s linked to two categories, so there’s two URLs generated. WordPress however only lets us edit 1 version, we can’t access the article in the other category it seems. Hence why we need to add the canonical URL, to make sure search engines index and favor the version we want.
