I reinstalled the plugin and it seems normal now. The options screen was blank. I have no idea what the problem was.
Hi Maybellyne,
this is the situation in google search console. I send you screenshots. No errors but url not indexed. In other search engines, yahoo, bing, the situation is normal, url can be seen without problems. Do you have any idea?https://pasteboard.co/Lb5wf0q64vHv.jpg

The site has already been in google search console for years, verified with code. All articles are indexed, except these two. I tried to make the indexing request manually, but no result. URLs are in the sitemap, the search console test says that indexing is possible, but google does not index them. SEO test is ok. I don’t know what else I can do. Any other suggestion?
Thanks
Stefano
I tried activating and deactivating the sitemap and now the urls are there. But the articles are not indexed in Google.
Missing URLs are these:
https://www.altriprodotti.com/videocamere-sony-4k-modelli-e-specifiche-tecniche/
https://www.altriprodotti.com/technics-sa-c600-ampli-digital-streamer-cd/
The wrong url is due to the translator, who also translated the url into English
Hi Maybellyne,
The correct url is this. And it works normally.
https://www.altriprodotti.com/videocamere-sony-4k-modelli-e-specifiche-tecniche/

It’s incredible. I tried to edit this article:
https://www.altriprodotti.com/videocamere-sony-4k-models-and-specifiche-tecniche/
And Yoast only puts a change to this link (which is a tag) into the sitemap:
https://www.altriprodotti.com/tag/4k-uhd/
I don’t think the problem is in the robots.txt file
Anyone have ideas? Won’t that be a problem with yoast messing around?
Thank you
Stefano
Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I immediately edited the robots.txt file as you indicated. The problem however is that the new articles are totally absent from the sitemap. They just aren’t there. Do you have any ideas to correct this? Thank you

In reply to: [HardNews] Images in homepage after updateI tried to update with covernews version 2.5.1 again, but it doesn’t work. The images on the homepage always have an unsuitable format. The program does not automatically cut the images on the homepage to always the same format. I have tried to change the size of the images from the css file, but it still does not get a good result. Can’t you restore the image management on the homepage that was there before? At least send me the additional css to insert in the child theme to restore the previous version. I don’t understand why you changed this part of the theme. The management with child theme and parent theme requires that changes to the CSS are made only on the child theme. The parent theme is updated but must remain unchanged in its basic structure. Instead, you have changed the parent theme in such a way that the previous view cannot be restored from the child theme. The parent theme and child theme management in this way no longer works and becomes completely useless. I can’t waste all this time solving a problem that shouldn’t even exist.
Thank you

In reply to: [HardNews] Images in homepage after updateBut how about injecting additional CSS into the child theme? With google inspector I saw that the parent theme “covernews” is different in the section that manages the images on the homepage. I’d rather not add any other plugins.
Thank youForum: Reviews
In reply to: [HardNews] not very goodHi AF themes,
in the previous version, the images on the homepage have a fixed, predefined size. The edges are cut to give a fixed size. After the update, the images no longer have this fixed size. Each image replicates the original aspect ratio. Later I try to clear all caches, servers, browsers, cloudflare and see if it works. If it doesn’t work, maybe tell me what the additional CSS is, so I’ll put it in the child theme.
Thank you

In reply to: [evolve] Old evolve 3.6.7: how to update? But does your theme come with the child theme already included? What I can suggest for any wordpress theme is to always provide it to users with the child theme ready and tested. What do you think about it?

In reply to: [evolve] Old evolve 3.6.7: how to update? In the end I solved everything by completely changing the wordpress theme. I found a theme that already has the child theme and the parent theme, which install together simultaneously. The result is good. 30% increase in traffic. All changes made in the additional CSS. Thanks anyway
