I was not able to access my site via my desktop computer, but I managed to get in through my phone. I installed WordFence and have now fixed my site and am able to get in.

I thought I would clean house and inadvertently corrected my problem when I removed some unused plugins.
I guess one of them was breaking the page editing portion of wordpress.
At any rate, thank you very much for responding so quickly last night to my problem.
