Then enabled Legacy Admin

Then the dashboard had the old NextGen Admin menu below the Imagely menu

I will need to migrate from NextGen to another plugin unless List view can be implemented and supported in the new version

I like the simple text player skin the most

But I would like to add a playlist button to the right with a drop down playlist

[mp3t track=”song1.mp3″ playlist_button=”right” playlist_tracks=”song1.mp3″,”song2.mp3″,”song3.mp3″]

So that additional tracks could could chosen for the simple text player

Cais, hi I am still using Nextgen 2.1.23

Issue 1
I think the reason:

Gallery [Save Changes] was not saving from the [Search List]

Is that multiple instances an image are appearing in some searches
So if I edit the first instance of an image in the list
I believe the unedited image further down in the list
Overrides any changes above.
Should their be only 1 instance of an image in a search list?

Issue 2
Persists, I am not sure why.
With Gallery [Scan for new images]
During the thumbnail creation process
It will crash after about 10-15 images with an error
And the only way to see the wordpress dashboard again is to clear cookies.
Then I manually check box and create missing thumbnails

Issue 3
Oh yeh the TABS were a theme shortcode dont worry im not trying to use that layout anymore.

Sry both issues are back for me :/

I can not [save changes] for field edits from the Search List
And at 50% [create new thumbnail] for 50 images I got the error:
ID 3709: Retrying in 30 seconds; host might be throttling.
Then I must clear cookies to see the dashboard again.
So something is still causing problems for me

I might roll back to Nextgen 2.1.10 I will let you know if the issues show up for me there too, but last time I rolled back a week ago I never saw em.

I have 1500 images of 30+ Characters by 100+ Artists that need to be displayed alphabetically by Character on one page and by Artist on another.

I cant experiment with ATP right now as there is some plugin conflict causing the ATP Display Gallery page to be blank. I will definitely give this a go soon tho. Perhaps I can insert 30 Character ATP instances on one page and 100 Artist ATP instances on another each with different sort/exclude settings. But this may be too difficult. I did experiment with the back end Gallery settings where I pointed 2 Galleries at the same ftp image folder and used the exclude settings but this method lost the image description text for the second gallery and there was no select all ‘exclude’ option I would have to press ‘exclude’ on 1400 images to include just a few for every Character and Artist.

Tags seemed to be the best method to control what images I want displayed and I have more categories that just Character and Artist there is also Masterpiece II and Masterpiece II.

I am using the justified image grid extension for nextgen which adds some tag functionality such as intersecting tags and the JIG tag shortcodes display the images by the order they are sorted within each nextgen gallery, with the lowest gallery ID images being first.

If only i could reorder or change the ID of the galleries :/ or find some other solution.

In the shortcode:

But still no effect :/
