In reply to: [ColorMag] ColorMag 2.0.0.1 – ChangesHi @treadstone02
Firstly, thanks for asking about the problem here and sorry for the inconvenience caused. We’re going to release an update with the fix. For now, please add this custom CSS and let me know if this doesn’t fix the current color issues:
a, #site-title a, a#scroll-up i, .widget_featured_posts .article-content .entry-title a:hover, .footer-widgets-area a:hover, .widget_featured_slider .slide-content .entry-title a:hover, .widget_highlighted_posts .article-content .entry-title a:hover, .single-related-posts .article-content .entry-title a:hover, .related-posts-main-title .fa { color: #dd3333; }https://docs.themegrill.com/knowledgebase/where-do-i-add-my-custom-css/
After you get an update of ColorMag fixing this, you can remove the above CSS code.
Regarding, options after theme update, we’ve not removed a single option from the previous version of ColorMag free. We always believe in serving our free version user as much as possible while maintaining balance to the premium version. So, it is never our intention to cut out existing features of the free version, and just to make you clear on this, we’ve not done that. 🙂
You might have felt that since we’ve arranged the options inside sections and panels, you’ll see all the options from the previous version as mentioned here: https://docs.themegrill.com/colormag/where-are-the-customize-options-available-after-colormag-major-update/
If you think any of the options has been been removed, please let us know about it and we’ll check this as that would be an issue and we’ll fix it.
Thanks.

In reply to: [ColorMag] A weird problemThat’s great. Then, there should be nothing to worry about. However, I suggest you update all themes and plugins you’ve used and change the log in detail of the site.
Also, it is always better to keep the backup of your site regularly.

In reply to: [Flash] Flash do not work properly with Polylang and poor supportHi @patricevigier,
Firstly, I would like to apologize on behalf of our team that you got a problem with our support and on your site while using our theme. At the same time, I would like to let you know that I did go through the conversation for the problem you get in our support ticket and I realize that there has been some confusion. In a case like this, I agree that it is always the responsibility of ours to properly guide and try to explain what is the exact problem, what is the possible solution, and let users know if something is not in our hands. So, I accept that there were mistakes from our sides. From the conversation, I understand that it could be handled in a very different way so that you wouldn’t have to go through the trouble. So, I’ll be doing it for you.
Saying that I want to let you know what we’ll be doing from here. We’ll try to replicate the problem in every possible way, then fix it if it can be done within the theme with high priority and release an update so that the problem in your site will also be fixed. If we couldn’t replicate it, we’ll contact you via email and check your site’s admin to fix the problem for you. I hope this is fine with you too. If there’s anything else we can do, please let us know and we’ll consider that as well. You can also contact us via https://themegrill.com/ Chat Support for quick discussion.
Finally, positive or negative, feedback from our users always encourage us to improve our themes and we do have a history of improving our themes by learning from complaints of the users. This review of yours will also help us to do the same. So, I want to ensure that we’ll check this in detail and come up with the best possible solution. I hope you can update the rating after doing so. 🙂
Sincerely,
Ashish S. – ThemeGrill Team
