There are 2 types of templates that could help you. Page templates and Category templates.
These are easy to make and tutorials are easily found.

Whats happening is your theme is giving bullets to text widgets in your sidebar, that’s a bullet. You should be able to fix that in your style.css

I would recommend not using WordPress MU and sticking with the single version on ww.wp.xz.cn. I don’t mean to seem harsh, I just think you will save yourself a lot of headaches this way.
