Hi Darian @d0153 thanks for the reply.

So it is good to know that google calendar updates feed in 24hrs, I haven’t seen that posted on the plugins website or knowledgebase. I at first thought it was suppose to sync on a much smaller interval, and be forced if one were to hit refresh.

However, this is day 2 since my last change of my Events Calendar and nothing has happened to my google calendar. This is true for the clients website I host and manage, and the new fresh setup of WordPress I created.

I would like to point out that on the clients website they are using litespeed and quiccloud CDN. I followed the plugins guide here: https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/litespeed-cache/

While on the fresh install of WordPress for testing purposing I am NOT using LiteSpeed or ANY plugins at the moment.

I would expect the google calendar to have synced up by now.

Hi @d0153 thank you for your response, so as I stated in my last post the time zone issue seemed to have fixed itself, the proper time now shows up after leaving everything alone for a few days.

This led me to believe that I am having a cache problem on my clients server. I had attempted to disable all plugins, CDN, and current theme. That didn’t help.

When I add a new event, or update an event date/time it doesn’t change.

I then installed a clean install of WordPress on a different domain and just installed TheEventsCalendar Plugin and it still won’t sync in a timely manner. I have tried the refresh button on cell phone, and on laptop using chrome in developer mode I tried “Empty cache and hard reload”

To duplicate: Create at least two events, subscribe to calender with Google and it will sync the first time.
Now either add a third event, or change date/time on one of the first events. The google calendar no longer syncs and updates.

You can even remove the google calendar and subscribe again and the old data shows up, not the new data. But if you download the ICS file it shows all the new events properly. I’m baffled and confused at the moment.

Also attempted to go into cPanel and flush Cache and clear and flush browser cache and problem persists.

Update: I believe I’m having a caching issue. The time zone issue fixed it self, but now when I change a event or make a new one they don’t import into google calendar. Will report back after trouble shooting more.

Does the Dev Team check this page regularly? Interested in purchasing Pro version, but not if I can’t get this issue resolved for my client.

Is anybody else having problems importing a calendar into google? I tried with a Cell Phone later instead of laptop and it gave me a different error that the Calendar no longer exists.

    @qtwrk,

Yes tried purge all. If purge all it does happen instantly.

After a week of troubleshooting my host moved me to a new server and the problem seems to be gone now. Sounds like something was amiss on their end.

I want to thank you for attempting to help.
I wish I could close this message with a solution, but in this case it was something with the server.

@qtwrk This is probably because I had plugins disabled that were required for CSS
I shut them all off to narrow it down. They are turn back on now so sight “should” load if it were working. You can try to bypass again, It does work great fully bypass CDN, no need to disable LSCWP.

    Welcome back.
No go on the temporary disable/re-enable.
Still no progress bar with over 7k entries in the database.

Thanks for the quick reply. No worries on the travel, it doesn’t have to get fixed quickly. Would just like to figure it out eventually.

So the petition ID does match the shortcode ID.
Also this is the petition ID that all the signatures had during import.

On the same page you directed me to: dashboard – SpeakOut! – petitions, I can clearly see 6,917 signatures, and the progress bar next to it works.
Just not on the front end.

I also tried making a post with the shortcode [signaturecount id=”1″] and it displayed a value of 0

This seems to be a plugin conflict. The other plugin that affects this is called:
    Perfect WooCommerce Brands
Version 1.6.5 | By Alberto de Vera Sevilla

When the said plugin is enable I can not save options, they simply revert back to previous setting.

When I disable this plugin they save fine.

Please see video demonstration: Click Here for Video

I hope somebody can help find the conflict, my website needs both plugins and I will purchase full version of WOOF if somebody can fix.

I just wanted to update this post real quick.
Including index.html in the URL did not work because then WPFC would add it to my photos URL and of course they were not found.

Talked to StackPath again and they said they can’t return a 200 because it was Permissions on the S3 Bucket.

So I set Perms on my S3 Bucket Root Folder to Public – Read
Then I activated the CDN Tab in Plugin.

Since Setting Root of S3 folder causes an XML list of ALL the files in my bucket I simply shut the Perms for public back off after I activated the CDN Tab. All is Working Great now! Simple workaround

    @emrevona

I think I found a workaround. I can’t fully test it because all my files haven’t been pushed to my S3 Bucket yet. But I get basic HTML from the CDN now…just waiting on my upload to finish for CSS and photos. I probably should have mentioned that my CDN is pointed to an S3 Bucket and there was no root page.

Here is what I did to make the plugin work:
    1) I made an index.html file and simply put a comment inside it saying <!– This is to Prevent 403 Error Perms for WPFC Plugin –>

    2) Save the file and upload it to the root of affected S3 Bucket

    3) Now Click on the file and go to the Permissions tab of S3 Bucket and make sure everyone has only READ access on this file.

    4) Now login to Stackpath, on left click CDN. Click domain name for affected CDN, now click Cache Settings. Click Purge everything.

    5) Login back into wordpress and on the WPFC page click CDN. Select MAXCDN (Now Stackpath) for the URL Put: http://YOURCDNURL/index.html

    6) The plugin will now get around the 403 error and ask you to select files, etc. Continue configuration as normal from here on.

Hope this helps somebody else, maybe sticky somewhere for people that run into the same issue.

    (@thomsonkev)

Correct, so how do I fix this so that I can use WPFC? WPFC just says “Forbidden” because of the 403 error

@emrevona What should I do about the plugin saying forbidden though? Stackpath said everything is working normal.
