I will fix in the next update. In the meantime, two ways to correct this:
- Enable PHP short tags (or rather, remove the instruction to disable them): https://www.php.net/manual/en/language.basic-syntax.phptags.php
- Change line 94 of stop_registration_spam.php from <? to <?php
