Thanks!
I finally figured it out == I had the wrong replaceable sidebar selected! Now the category sidebar is appearing on all category pages.
However, the post pages still have no sidebars at all — is that because of the theme – twenty-eleven?
Thanks!!
Sure-
Here’s the custom sidebar widget (which I called “category sidebar”): http://035f1f6.netsolhost.com/wordpress1/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/widget-set-up.jpg
Here’s the set up under the default tab: http://035f1f6.netsolhost.com/wordpress1/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/default-sidebar.jpg
Any ideas?
Thanks for your help!
I created the custom sidebar to display the categories ( I dragged in the category widget).
Then I set this sidebar to go to both the category pages, the archives pages, and all posts.
So far, the category/archive pages show only the main navigation and the posts pages have nothing.

If you look under the “projects” page, the categories are showing, but on the category pages, it’s the main sidebar — which is not the way it was set up in the plug-in. I also tried to add the categories sidebar to the posts, but nothing appears.
Thanks!
Hi,
It miraculously started to work, but I’m still struggling with getting the sidebar to feature categories only — I’ve created the custom sidebar, and added the categories widget. All categories have active posts, so I’m not sure why it’s not pulling in.
Also, the posts still aren’t showing a sidebar… any ideas?
Thanks for your help!
Hi,
I’m having a similar problem, but when I go to the default sidebar tab, the copy in each section reads “There are no replaceable sidebars selected. You must select some of them in the form above to be able for replacing them in all the post type entries.”
However there is no form above…
I created a custom sidebar on the “custom” tab, but I want this sidebar to appear on a category page.
Thanks for your help!
