In reply to: [The Events Calendar] where’s my calendarHi @traor15,
Thanks for reaching out, and I’m so sorry for the trouble here! This problem can sometimes occur when another post or page with the slug “events” is preventing the calendar from displaying properly. Can you confirm whether or not any other posts or pages may be using the “events” slug on your site? If you’re able to provide a link to your site here, we’d love to take a closer look for ourselves! 🙂
Thank you!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Broken Registration LinkHi @campusfridges,
Thanks for reaching out, and I’m so sorry for the trouble here! It looks like this “error message” is originating with a shortcode placed for another plugin (most likely Contact Form 7) and doesn’t involve The Events Calendar. If you didn’t place these buttons or this shortcode on your site, I’d suggest reaching out to your theme developer for more information on how these registration forms are meant to operate.
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let me know if there’s anything else that we can do to assist!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Change widget viewHi @zephyr83,
Thanks for reaching out! If you’re comfortable with modifying PHP and CSS to restyle your theme and plugin template files, you can easily change the display of your widgets (or any other plugin view) to match your exact preferences. Our Themer’s Guide provides all the info you should need to find and duplicate the correct template files so you can get right to it! Please note that we’re not able to provide support for customizations such as these, but you’re always welcome to submit a post if you should have any questions as you’re getting started–you’ll often find someone here who’d be more than glad to point you in the right direction! 🙂
I hope that helps! Thanks again, and let me know if you should have any other questions!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Calendar is not open for all [private]Hi @nopus,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! Just to make sure that I’m understanding you correctly, are you looking to have a calendar that all site visitors can view or a calendar that all site visitors can add events to? If it’s just the first one, The Events Calendar should be accessible to the public by default, as long as your site is configured properly–if you’re not seeing that behavior, we’d love to take a closer look! Feel free to reply with a link to your site, and we’ll investigate further from there.
If you’re looking to set up a calendar that any site visitors can add events to, this feature isn’t supported by The Events Calendar by default. You’ll need to add on our premium plugin Community Events, which will allow you to receive and manage event submissions from any visitors to your site.
Let me know if one of these helps to answer your question or if you should have any other concerns here! 🙂 Cheers, and thanks again for stopping by!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Google map issuesHi @baumgardc,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out! It does indeed sound like you’ve uncovered a conflict between The Events Calendar and PayPal Events–thanks for reporting it. Have you tried to reach out to the folks behind PayPal Events? Maybe they are already aware of this and have a workaround or are preparing a fix. We’d love to be able to support you directly, but the plugin author will be your best bet since they are much more familiar with their code than we are.
Thanks so much, and let us know what you’re able to find out!

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Recurring Events – but only for a set period.Hi @pauljohnknight,
Thanks for reaching out! While recurring events are not supported by the free version of The Events Calendar, you can create recurring events of nearly any recurrence type or pattern with our premium calendar plugin, Events Calendar PRO. However, depending on your exact needs as far as bookings/ticketing and “rolling” sales are concerned, some degree of customization may still be required. We’d be more than glad to answer any specific questions you might have regarding your intended setup over on our website‘s pre-sales forum–feel free to pay us a visit if you’re interested in learning more!
I hope that helps! Cheers, and thanks again for stopping by! 🙂

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Code showing at bottom of events pageHi @andresgrossmann,
Thanks for taking the time to reach out to us here! This type of “random” corrupted text can appear on calendar pages when minification plugins are being used alongside The Events Calendar. If you’re able to add exceptions for specific plugins or directories with your minification plugin, we recommend setting The Events Calendar as an exception or disabling minification entirely. The Events Calendar (and all of our plugins) already use minified code and don’t need to be compressed any further for optimum performance.
If you’re curious to read more about The Events Calendar and minification, you can find more info on our Knowledgebase here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/problems-with-minification/
Let me know if making this change helps to resolve your issue! 🙂

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Coursepress ConflictHi @drumbeatuk,

I can confirm that we have logged the conflict described here as a bug in our systems, and our development team is following up to begin addressing it as soon as they’re able. While I’m afraid that I don’t have an exact timeline for when that might take place, I’ve gone ahead and noted your thread here so that we can follow up with you as soon as a fix is available!
I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news here, but we do appreciate you taking the time to bring this issue to our attention! Thanks again, and let me know if there’s anything else that we can do to assist! 🙂

This will allow us to determine if there is a problem in our plugin or a conflict with the theme or other installed plugins.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Month view bug issue? /* > */ displayed below calendarHi all,
Thanks for taking the time to chime in here! This type of issue is typically associated with the use of minification plugins on The Events Calendar and its related plugins, which are already minified prior to distribution. If you’re able to include exceptions for minification in your plugin settings, we recommend that you exclude The Events Calendar and any other Modern Tribe plugins for best results. You can read more about issues with minification and our products on our Knowledgebase here:
https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/problems-with-minification/
Let us know if disabling minification helps to resolve your issues here! If you should continue to experience problems, please don’t hesitate to follow up with more information, and we’ll investigate further.
Thank you!
