In reply to: [AddToAny Share Buttons] uncaught (in promise) errors in Chrome ConsoleThank you! It was the only plugin I could find that would let me do what I wanted, so thank YOU!
Ok, it’s quite possible. I’ll add that to my list of things to troubleshoot 🙂

In reply to: [Migrate Guru – Site Migration & Cloning] Issues migrating to a new hostI think in the end, since I’ve pointed the URL to the new server, I may just assign a sub domain to the source… although I shouldn’t have to do this. I’m just not sure what I’m missing to make this work the way it should.
I too am receiving this error. It happens with even the example videos given in “Embed a channel.”
I’ll try re-creating the API but I’m not sure where I would have gone wrong. I also removed all API restrictions for testing purposes.
I too am quite interested in this functionality. Today I went looking for the ability to manage capabilities for GF and came up short. Google brought me here. As wide spread as GF is, I’m surprised there aren’t more people clamoring for this.
I understand I can add them manually but really, there should be an extension for this. I’m happy to hear it’s under consideration. And while no ETA is provided, it has been 2 months so I’m just wondering if there’s an update on whether it might see the light of day?
Many thanks!
My host’s solution was “delete the Wordfence folder”. That was a quick fix to get access but I guess begs the question… does my host hate the plugin because it consumes more resources or are they correct in saying that it’s superfluous?
Same here. Thanks arnie, that got me back up and running… but is that a permanent solution?

In reply to: [Point and Click Analytics by The Big Picture] Multisite support?I guess there’s my answer. Tried a network install: “plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected end of file in /home/public_html/wp-content/plugins/big-picture-analytics/the-big-picture.php on line 49”…which also occurs on a single site. Well then. Adding code via the header it is!

In reply to: [Migrate Guru – Site Migration & Cloning] Question on multisite migrationHi Yeal,
I’ve used Migrate Guru a few times now, including moving multisite to another host on another (sub)domain.
I use it to make a copy of my live site for testing which I have on cloud hosting to a test.mysite.com account which is on a cPanel shared host.
Migrate Guru handles the URL switch and everything related for you. Hope that helps.

In reply to: [SendGrid] Where did the Multisite Settings go?Resolved: unchecking, saving and re-checking the “self-managed” seems to have been the cure.
Ditto.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Abandon Cart in error logs? The initial crazy logs still persist. I did upgrade just to sort this out and someone from the API team is looking into it. I’m hoping for a solution soon as I need to start some holiday promotions. I’d like to have some of this automation in place beforehand though.
Thanks for your assistance.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Abandon Cart in error logs?Hi Malachite,
Good point about reporting. I’m leaving dev disabled for now. I made the mistake of creating a separate list… I guess this would be fine if my dev site wasn’t a clone of live with tons of orders in there. Syncing to a new list… grew it significantly :/ That’s all sorted.
Thanks for the explanation of the abandon cart requirements. I did that but as mentioned, sending was paused (I presume because aforementioned sync caused my to go over my account limit) which explains why I didn’t see anything from it.

In reply to: [Mailchimp for WooCommerce] Abandon Cart in error logs?Hi @mcsupport,
1) I managed to sort out the connected sites thing. I completely uninstalled the plugin and disconnected the site on Dev so I only had one site to set up the abandon cart automation, then I reconnected it.
1.5) Is it advisable to sync a dev and live site to the same list?
2) How do I test abandon cart emails? On dev, I visited the site, put something in my cart, got as far as checkout and bailed, but no email came through.
2.5) I went to go back to change the amount of time before a send for the dev site and found out that I couldn’t. It says account disabled!? https://www.screencast.com/t/qmj8Cj8rrqU (but only for the dev site) Live and everywhere else seems fine.
3) I came here for support because I’m on a free plan at the moment (but have been around longer than 30 days) so seems like I’m out of luck when it comes to getting automation set up.
4) The log keeps getting filled with that individual’s email address. Is there any way of knowing what emails are actually being sent (if any?)
Thanks.

In reply to: [WP Job Manager] Multiple use cases on the same site? Thanks @jonryan,
That confirms my suspicions. If I did want to explore that route – any suggested WPJM developers you would suggest for the task?
