In reply to: [All-in-One WP Migration and Backup] Fantastic pluginI just performed a site migration a few minutes ago and had no issues.
After first clicking on the ‘Export’ button, you’ll see a dialog that says the files are being prepared. Once that finishes, there’s a ‘flashing’ button that says:
DOWNLOAD [site name]
SIZE: XX MB or whateverwith a CLOSE button underneath that.
It took me a few minutes the first time around to realize that the ‘DOWNLOAD [site name] thing was actually a button and you have to click on it to download the migration file. Could that be what happened in your case? (Once you get it downloaded, or saved to DropBox or whatever, you then install the plugin on the new site and perform the IMPORT on that side.)
Hope this helps.

Ahh, the dangers of letting someone who doesn’t know what they’re doing (me!!) muck with code… 🙂
Thanks for the response and solution. Much appreciated, Bill!

This post actually gave me the code I needed to fix the layout. (THANKS!!)
Don’t know if you want to follow up on the function issue or not…
For illustration purposes, here is how I want the layout to look:
http://wakemeupbeforeyoulogo.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/07/Layout001.jpg
And here’s how it looks without the custom output function activated:

If this function won’t work, is there some other way I can accomplish the first layout without it?
Thanks again!

In reply to: [Code Snippets] Add functions easily! And this plugin means you don’t need to create a child theme for functions at all – much easier.

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] 4.2 Broke My CalendarHi Geoff,
Thanks for responding. For clarification, you’re correct – it only broke the calendar, not the full site. I will modify my review to reflect that.
Thanks also for explaining how your release schedule works. It makes sense, and I now understand your process better.

Ahh, I thought I might have found the issue… The thank you page that was specified in the settings was:
http://saywardfutures.ca/become-a-member/thank-you-for-joining/
but the site was restructured and that page was changed to:
http://saywardfutures.ca/membership-information/join-now/thank-you-for-joining/
So I changed the settings to reflect the correct URL, but upon testing, it still returned a link with the reset bit at the end:
http://saywardfutures.ca/membership-information/join-now/thank-you-for-joining/?reset_wp_cart=1
Is there something specific in the debug file that I should be looking for? (I don’t want to post all of that info here, but I could send it to you if it would help.)
Thanks again!!
Terry
Hi mbrsolution,
Okay, I logged into PayPal and changed the settings there to send Email notification and set the URL there to:
(The setting in my plugin is still set to the thank you page noted above.) Upon completion of the transaction, it still returned to:
http://saywardfutures.ca/become-a-member/thank-you-for-joining/?reset_wp_cart=1
I did enable Debug mode and see a .txt file with a bunch of info in it, but I don’t know what I should be looking for there.
Thanks – I really appreciate your help.
Terry
Adding the website URL where, mbrsolution? In the settings for the shopping cart or on PayPal? And do you mean using just the site’s main URL, rather than redirecting to the specific thank you page?
Thanks,
Terry

In reply to: [Simple Shopping Cart] Return Redirect URL not working: ?reset_wp_cart=1I’m having this problem, too. I tried it with Receive IPN messages (Enabled) checked and a notification URL filled in, with Receive IPN messages (Enabled) checked, and the notification URL blank, and with ‘Do not receive IPN messages (Disabled) checked with and without a URL. In all instances, the return URL has /?reset_wp_cart=1 at the end of it.
I also uninstalled the plugin (latest version) and then reinstalled it. Same outcome.
Would love some help here.
Thank you!
Terry

In reply to: [Simple Shopping Cart] Paypal notice on IPNSo just to be clear, we SHOULD be using IPN settings in PayPal, correct?
And if so, the URL that we should put there is the thank you page URL after purchase?
Many thanks!

In reply to: [WooCommerce] PsiGate payment credit card field not showingjchen, did you change every instance of it? (There are 8 or 9.)
What version of the PsiGate plugin are you using?
