In reply to: [Cookies and Content Security Policy] Bypass cache if a cookie is present.🙏 Sorry for taking so long to respond.
Sorry for taking so long to say ❤️ thank you.
This is a very busy date, I am Santa’s technician.
I have been trying a lot of things.
I use Siteground hosting.
The cache plugin is the official Siteground plugin, Siteground Optimizer.
Site ground shows pages without cache if some types of cookies are active.
I left the list of active cookies in the initial question.
I have created a plugin that when your cookie is active, it activates the woocommerce cookie and so more or less works the cache, but it is not the right thing to do.
👉*Maybe you could think about including something like that in this plugin.
That when the cookie of your plugin is active, it activates a cookie of WooCommerce or similar, so that it is compatible with the cache plugins of the hostings.
🙏</img>Just that.
❤️</img>Thank you for your fantastic plugin.
It works very well for me, and I am very happy.
I just try to activate the caches, to improve the speed of the web and also to reduce the electrical consumption of the hostings.
I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Tutor LMS - eLearning and online course solution] Tutor login modal issueSolution.
All good hosts add cache rules for logged out users.
To disable the cache only for logged out users you have to write to support and ask for it.
1º You have to have in the WP-CONFIG, configured the cookies.
2º You have to have a cookie that is only for users who are connected.
3º You have to ask the hosting to write a rule that disables the cache to users who have the cookie active user connected. With this all failures are solved.
You are going to use cache for the users not connected, and you are going to remove the cache for the users that have the cookie, that are the ones that are connected.
Good luck to everyone.
Hello, thank you very much for your reply.
Yes, I know that FluentSMTP has that setting in the admin area.
I was asking if I could enable or disable that same setting from the wp-config.
For me it is essential because there are websites that when I pass them to staging, they send subscription emails.
If the owner of the website forgets to disable the FluentSMTP setting, when the website is staged it will send a lot of emails to the users.
I see from your answer that you don’t have it yet.
Thank you very much for replying.

In reply to: [Tutor LMS - eLearning and online course solution] La peor plugin, NO COMPRENESPAÑOL
ENGLISH
TutorLMS is the best LMS plugin, and it works super well.
You want something better than TutorLMS, use Thinkific, but in Thinkific you’re going to have a huge problem, it’s called SEO.
Thinkific is very similar to TutorLMS, it’s super easy to use, but it has a serious SEO flaw, you can’t make content for SEO.
With TutorLMS you can do:
Open courses that everyone can see for free and that google can also see.
Closed courses that only paying users can see.
Closed courses with free content in open for everyone to see and google, that’s how I have it.With tutorLMS it is easy to position the courses in google, and if you use RankMach SEO google goes crazy.
What is Tutor LMS?
Tutor LMS has the best of Thinkific to create content, and the best of Udemy to create a personal academy or an academy for many teachers.
With TutorLMs you can use many payment platforms, and that’s great especially for people living in Latin America.
TutorLMS works perfectly well using all the things they say, and putting it all their own way.
TutorLMS can have small bugs when you modify things in their code, or when you connect it with other plugins, but all these things are fixed without any problem.I don’t know how to program, I’m a simple person, I have put my TutorLMS to work and it works perfectly, and when it has given me failures it has been my fault or some crazy plugin that I put.
I swear to God TutorLMS is great, try again to install it on a good hosting and you will see how happy you will be.
I have had few problems.
My first problem with TutorLMS was the memory limit, they logged in and fixed it for me.
My second problem was because of the visits, I had a lot of visits and the hosting was very bad, I switched to Kinsta and everything was fixed.
My third problem was that the course grid was not working properly, it was a CSS error in Generate Press, they also connected and fixed it.
And so I’ve had several problems for things that I do wrong or for things that plugins do wrong, but they have always responded and repaired my few problems.
Support is very important when you have an online academy, if something goes wrong the students go crazy.
I am thankful to TutorLMS is fantastic, that’s why I am writing this so that many people know about it.

In reply to: [Tutor LMS - eLearning and online course solution] Good supportYes, it is a great truth.
The support is top 10, both for the free plugin and the pro plugin.
TutorLMS is the best LMS for courses.
TutorLMS = Thinkific in WordPress.
TutorLMS has a super easy content creation system, for that and other things it’s the best.I use TutorLMS with visual restriction of part of the content, and it’s great because that’s how my website is positioned for SEO.
Thank you very much @vtrandev.
I have hosted my website on Kinsta, it is very similar to Site Ground in configuration.
I use the plugin: SiteGround Security version: Version: 1.1.3
I have deleted the LOG, I’m going to see if the warning notices come back.
Thank you very much.
I have the same problem.
If I deactivate the tutor lms plugin, the warning is removed.- This reply was modified 4 years, 4 months ago by Juan Luis Martel.

In reply to: [Tutor LMS - eLearning and online course solution] Feature suggestionWhat you are asking for is called an explanation.
Powerful LMSs after showing the result of a question show an explanation of the question.
The explanation is used to reinforce what the student has answered, right or wrong.
I have already asked the TutorLMS team for this improvement.
I hope God help me and they will put that functionality, it is something relatively to do but it brings a lot of value to the student and to the plugin.
I have TutorLMS PRO, already quite configured.
In case it’s helpful, I’ll tell you about the plugins that I’ve already set up and have working:
FluentSMTP with Google company for sending emails using Google.
Ithemes Security for the security and login of the users and the academy.
RankMatch SEO to add Schema of the course type to the courses and of the article type to the lessons.
Restric Content PRO for content restriction. In general I’m doing a lot of tests and everything is fine, to be honest I also did a lot of tests with other LMS plugins and they were a disaster.
I hope you have a nice day.
Hello @processi good morning sorry for taking so long to answer.
The website where I have TutorLMS-PRO installed is https://electronica.school .
https://electronica.school is a membership type academy to learn electronics.
A membership is a payment like Netflix, students pay every month and can view and access all the content of the web.
Also being a membership the website has content that is updated frequently.
If you enter the website you can already see some of the changes I made in the theme settings and plugin files.
This website is a new project with a new name, I am in the design and user experience optimization phase.
As I said I have tested all the wordpress LMS plugins, and also all the services of companies that offer LMS such as Thinkific, Kajabi, Teachable etc…
To create an online academy there are basically two ways or you use wordpress or you use an external company.
Using WordPress to create an academy has many complications and also has many advantages.
The worst thing about using WordPress to make an academy, is the design, the security, and the usability for the creation of the courses and for the consumption of the courses.
The worst thing about using an external LMS is that it always lacks something, and that the course and student data is in someone else’s hand, and that’s not good.
The best combination I have used is wordpress and Thinkific.
Thinkific has a fantastic course creation experience, truly Thinkific is an example to be copied by all wordpress LMS developers.
Thinkific has two serious problems that are the ones that have motivated my exit from the platform:
1º It has no contact form. You have to use something external.
2º It has no BLOG. You can’t make content for SEO.
3º You can not put some open lessons without registration. For me not being able to put some of the content in open is to sink into misery.
Nowadays the contents are either positioned with SEO, or with social networks or paying advertising.
I have no money to pay for advertising, honestly I earn very little money, I work 7 days a week and only sleep 4 or 5 hours.
I am also a very hard worker, the things I don’t know how to do, I study them. I’m like an ant, I’m never standing still.
Gaining users on social networks is great but I still haven’t found the right formula to do it, I feel like a coward.
Gaining users using SEO is easy for me. A few years ago I had to stop working for three years to take care of my son.
I learned a lot of SEO to make money with google and amazon using forbidden techniques in order to survive.
That’s why for me the best option to gain users is to use SEO. SEO is free and it is a job that if you do it right is always producing good things.
I use TutorLMS because it works well, it has a very well written code, the code is very well documented, but the most important thing is the module to build courses and that I can put some lesson in open source.
The module for building courses in TutorLMS is very easy to use, it is very secure, and the most important thing is that you can make courses and lessons very quickly.
In the TutorLMS content creation module you can drag lessons and do strange things and it doesn’t break, everything works perfect.
Being able to put lessons in open so that all users can see the content is fantastic, because google sees them and positions them.
I make courses in videos and then with the images I use in the videos I make articles that are lessons that are seen in open.
The open lessons in TutorLMS have a URL, that’s great because you can SEO each URL.
I use Restric Content PRO to hide the content that is premium.
I use Restric Content PRO to make the membership charge monthly.I use Rank Math plugin for SEO because it has Schema for courses.
I have Advanced Custom Fields PRO installed because I plan to add some extra fields to the content.
I use the Custom Adminbar Menus plugin because in that menu I have the URLs of the Google admin panels of GMail etc….
I use Gravity Forms for the forms, although FluentForm is great.
I use Login or Logout Menu Item for the login and logout button.
I use Loco Translate to change some text translations.
I use Menu Items Visibility Control to show or hide parts of the menu to users.
I also have a number of small plugins that do other important things.
That’s all, @processi let me know if you need to know anything else or want me to post the plugin codes or tweaks I’m making.
Hope you have a nice day.
——————————————
