Use the Cloudflare "CF-Connecting-IP" HTTP header to get a visitor IP. Only use if you're using Cloudflare.The ban does not work.
Selecting the first one messes with connectivity option in wordfence with my server.
Please advise.

I have added all Wordfence IP’s in CloudFlare
I have also added server IP’s separately in CloudFlare but still I see
I remember, there was an option in Wordfence to send you report/log directly from Wordfence, but I can’t find it.
Maybe we can use that, so it can help you find the issue here?

Thank you for replying. I had it as “or” before which didn’t work and then I changed it to “and” which didn’t work either.
Now, I have changed it back to “or” and still the problem is there.

I’m exactly having the same problem, downgraded from 5.5 to 5.4 and now wordfence is telling me I got 80 suspicious files.
Downloaded both wordpress versions, didn’t understand properly.
@wfphil would you please elaborate a little what to look for?

Yes, i did it.
I got:
Reset the entire opcode cache successfully.
but still the problem exists.
