In reply to: [Connect LifterLMS to Discord] shortcode isn’t workingTo display the connect button in the plugin, one of the following conditions needs to be met:
- The student is enrolled in a course, and the role mapping is saved.
- The student is enrolled, and a default role is defined.
- ‘Allow none student’ is enabled.
If any of these conditions are satisfied, the connect button will be displayed.
Let me know if you need further assistance or clarification.

Please try this setting: ‘allow_none_student = Yes’ to ensure that the shortcode is working.
Hi there,
To remove the text “Discord connection” and leave only the button, you’ll likely need to apply some custom development work. Specifically, you would need to modify the CSS and possibly HTML to achieve this.
If you’re comfortable with coding or have access to someone who is, you can target the specific element containing the text and hide it using CSS.

To implement the pricing logic you described, you can utilize the features available in our premium plugin for connecting PMPRO to Discord, especially with its ability to manage multiple membership levels. Here’s how you can achieve what you’re looking for:
1- Configure your membership groups and roles within the premium plugin. Ensure that the roles are properly associated with the respective membership levels.
2- Set up pricing for each membership level, considering the default prices for Free1 roles on Silver and Gold groups and applying discounts for Free2 roles on Gold group memberships.
Utilize the premium plugin’s functionalities to manage multiple membership levels effectively, allowing for seamless handling of pricing and discounts based on the user’s current membership level.Though it is outside of scope we do, but you need to do custom version so any updates don’t remove your work,
You can hack into ‘ets_pmpro_discord_discord_api_callback’

Thank you for reaching out. Currently, our plugin, Connect Paid Membership to Discord, is designed to assign Discord roles based on the user’s membership level in Paid Memberships Pro (PMP). However, the reverse functionality, where Discord roles are assigned based on roles in PMP, is not supported by our plugin and falls outside its scope. If you’re looking to implement this functionality, you would need to build a custom solution using PHP. Unfortunately, we don’t have documentation on the functions specific to your needs within our plugin. However, you may consider exploring the Discord API documentation for guidance on how to check for roles on Discord and integrate them with Paid Memberships Pro.

Hi,
The plugin needs to communicate with Discord’s API endpoints directly, ensuring that your server can establish outbound connections to these endpoints is crucial.Forum: Plugins
