In reply to: [Kadence] Account Access

    Hey @louisrlinux ,

First off, I want to thank you for using and loving Kadence for so many years.

With that said, I understand that being locked out of your account and unable to use the features you paid for is incredibly frustrating. To provide a little context, when we consolidated our login systems over to our new Liquid Web Software panel, we experienced a brief issue with email deliverability, which caused password reset emails to fail for some users.

While our technical support team was manually stepping in to help get this fixed for users, hearing that you were told we “could not help” is definitely not the standard we aim for. I suspect there may have been an internal miscommunication on our end during that transition, which is something we will definitely look into. Regardless, you should never have been left stranded. Do you happen to have the ticket number from that interaction? I would love to pull up the history of that ticket to see exactly what happened and address it internally with our team.

More importantly, I want to make sure your account is fully restored, and your licenses are activating on your new sites without any issues. If you haven’t gotten this resolved yet, please reach out to us directly and mention this review.

Thank you for your patience and your commitment to Kadence. We want to get you back to building.

    Best regards,
    Victor

    Hey @mechawear

I completely hear your frustration, and I hope that we can address your issues and help you directly.

Kadence is built to be a highly flexible and powerful toolset and ecosystem, but with those advanced capabilities comes a learning curve. While we do have a dedicated documentation base and support team, I completely get how tough it is when you can’t easily find the exact answer you need, right when you need it.

We never want our users to feel stuck, and we are always working to create a user-friendly experience. However, when building fully dynamic solutions, there can naturally be some complexity. The good news is, our team is right here and happy to help you navigate it.

If you are open to it, please reach out to us directly. Our team is here to help you troubleshoot any issues, track down the right resources, and actually get your project moving forward again.

    Best regard,
    Victor

    Hey there,

    Welcome to Kadence Support.

Thanks for your feedback. I would like to let you know that we have updated our plugins to move that menu item to a more convenient spot. (Under the Settings -> Liquid Web Products area.) This is less intrusive, and I hope it eases your concerns! We heard everyone’s feedback loud and clear.

Please let me know if you need help with anything else.

    Hey @readysetsail ,

I really appreciate your honesty here. It’s clear we missed the goal of making things intuitive for you. We want the process from purchase to build to be user-friendly, and it’s a bummer to hear that this technical friction caused a roadblock.

To give some details on what likely happened: usually, when premium templates don’t work as expected, it’s just a matter of getting the Kadence premium plugins installed and the license key synced. We’re currently looking at how to make that handoff more obvious for future users.

Regarding our support, I understand your frustration related to the AI response. We use the bot to try giving users instant answers from our documentation, but it’s never meant to replace our team. We have real people (like me) who review every ticket, and we aim to have a human back in touch with you within 24 hours on weekdays.

Even though you’ve already moved on, we’d love the chance to show you what Kadence can actually do if you ever decide to give us another look. If you do, please reach out to our team directly.

    Best Regards,
    Victor

    Hey @mossifer ,

Thanks for sticking with us on this, and I want to step in to clarify exactly what is happening under the hood. First, you are completely right: our plugin should never bring down your site.

We have reviewed this and logged an official bug report with our development team. Here is the breakdown of what is happening and how we are fixing it:

    • You are 100% correct that we need to prevent this crash. We should be try-catching the error gracefully if the server denies the request. Our developers are working on an update so that if a database lacks these permissions, the plugin will no longer throw a fatal error.
    • That being said, the Optimizer does need those structural permissions (DELETE, ALTER, and DROP) to actually do its job and manage its tables (like kb_optimizer_viewport_hashes). Because your environment is actively blocking those standard commands, the process is failing.

Overall, a fatal error isn’t the way you should find out about the need of these database permissions.

While we work on improving the error handling on our end so it doesn’t crash the site, you will still need those permissions to actually use the Optimizer. To safely uncomment that line in your files and get everything working, you should update your database user to ensure it has standard DELETE, ALTER, and DROP privileges.

I hope this helps. If you’d like to track the progress of this bug, you can reach out directly to us here.

    Best regards,
    Victor

    Hey Alex,

    Thanks for your kind words.

Can you confirm if this bug occurs on the Front End or just the backend? I did some testing with this and it looks like in the Editor there might be a spacing issue, as the front end does show more margin around my Advanced Gallery Block. Can you confirm if this screenshot shows the issue at hand? If it doesn’t, consider sharing a URL to the front-end view.

This could also be a block setting issue. By default, the Paragraph Block adds a margin below it. In return, when a block is placed below a Paragraph Block, there is a marginal gap. In that case, you have two options to fix this.

    • You can remove the bottom margin from the top Paragraph Block.
      • Go to the Paragraph Block Settings.
      • Click on the 3 dots next to demininsions and click on margin.
      • From herre, you can adjust the bottom margin to none.
    • You can add a bottom margin to the Advanced Gallery Block if you want the space to exist below it.
      • Go to the Advanced Gallery Block Settings -> Advanced Tab and add a Bottom Margin.

    I hope this was helpful!

    Hey Adrian,

    Thanks for the update.

I did some tests on my end, and it is working on my test websites. This might be some rare-edge casee due to upgrading from beta. For better support, can you reach out to our official support channel? This way, we can keep close communication throughout the debugging process.

You can reach us officially here.

    Thanks again!

    Hi Adrian,

No worries at all! Thanks for reposting that for us. I’ve just added my response to the new thread over in the Kadence Blocks section.

Since this current thread is in the theme forum and I don’t have the permissions to close it myself, could you please set this issue to Resolved / close the thread for us?

    Thanks,
    Victor

    Hey Adrian,

Welcome to Kadence Support. We are here to help.

During the official launch of Kadence Performance, we added a Block Control for enabling Page Optimization globally.

    • Try updating Kadence Blocks, then going to the Editor -> Block Controls
(K Icon at the top right of the editor)
    • Afterward, expand the Performance Optimizer Tab and enable the global feature.

Once the global feature is enabled, you will then have bulk-actions available in the editor.

If the issue continues after enabling this setting, consider reaching out to us directly here so we can further investigate this issue.

    I hope this helps,
    Victor

    Hey @wu160314 ,

You mentioned you have set the Inner Column Height to 100%. It looks like I was able to find a bug here. I did some testing from my end and was able to reproduce this. I have reported this to our development team to explore. I don’t have a direct ETA for when a fix will be released. However, you can keep an eye on the Kadence Blocks Changelog here.

As a workaround, I was able to resolve the issue by turning off the Inner Column Height to 100% setting. Here is a clip for reference: https://share.zight.com/Qwu1KBn9. Can you let me know if this works for you? If you aren’t using a specific color on the Section Background, then keeping this setting disabled would be the preferred method to use, since it automatically will center the Section Content on its own. The issue is still a bug, but in your use case, I don’t think you need the 100% column height.

    Issue 2:
The Autoplay Feature technically shouldn’t be set to 0. In that case, it should be left disabled. When setting 0, it is grabbing the default value, which is 7000. The lowest accepted value is 10.

    I hope this helps!

    Hey Philip,

Welcome to Kadence Support. We are here to help.

The WooCommerce Email Designer plugin currently works with core WooCommerce and core features. This was made into a Feature Request. Usually, we implement requests as they gain traction/popularity. This request, however, hasn’t gained many votes yet. I highly suggest voting on it to help it gain more popularity.

You can view, vote on, and follow the request here.

    I hope this helps.

    Hey there,

Welcome to Kadence Support. We are here to help.

Can you share what the Parent Containers look like in this case? I did some testing on my end, and this feature is working for me. Here is a screenshot for reference: https://share.zight.com/eDuJv2yw.

Can you try saving the changes, refreshing the editor, and let me know if the issue continues?

Can you also ensure your plugins and theme are up-to-date and try clearing all forms of caching?

Additionally, I also suggest checking for a plugin conflict. You can do so by following these steps:

    • Deactivate all non-Kadence and non-essential plugins to test this and clear all caches.
    • See if the issue occurs.
    • If it doesn’t, reactivate plugins one by one.
    • Clear all caches after each activation.

I hope this helps. Please let me know your results.

    Hey @kirill1986 ,

Just checking up on things here. Were one of the workarounds above achievable on your end?

If you need any further assistance, feel free to let me know. If not, we can go ahead and mark this ticket as resolved

    Thanks!
    Victor
