HI there!
Our forms have a “Form Content” setting where you could add the PayPal html into the editor by switching it to “Text Mode”. Then choose whether that appears before or after the form. You could accomplish something similar by embedding our forms into a page using the
[give_form]shortcode or Block and adding your PayPal button on the same page however you like. But we think it’s best to support PayPal and Stripe Recurring with our full-featured and robust GiveWP Recurring Donations add-on.
Let me know if you have additional questions at all.
Thank you!
We have released version 2.6.2 of GiveWP that resolves the issue of forms not correctly redirecting to the donation confirmation page. Please update to that version, and let us know if you see any further issues. Thanks!

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] text overlayHi there,
Let me stick first to the front-end form problem that you’re facing. This is a conflict with the styles in your theme — I’m not sure why but your theme is trying to style EVERY
fieldsetand EVERYlegendwith very opinionated styles. This should override that and get the form looking correct again.
form[id*="give"] fieldset legend { position: relative; margin: 10px 0; padding: 0; top: 0; left: 0; }In regard to the Gutenberg issues, I notice in your screenshots that the “G” icon for our blocks is not there. That to me suggests something is not quite right in the first place. When you say “Deactivate Gutenberg” do you have the Gutenberg plugin installed? If so, why is that exactly? Are you running a very old version of WordPress? The Gutenberg plugin is no longer needed in modern versions of WordPress and it often has code that is in beta, not really for production purposes. Let me know the following and I can help further:
1. What version of WordPress are you on?
2. How are you enabling/disabling Gutenberg?
3. I see the plugin “Essential Grid” on your site too, is that updated to it’s latest version?
4. Let me know how that CSS fix went, I recommend adding it into the Customizer “Additional CSS” area NOT directly into the plugin at all. Thanks!

In reply to: [Simple Social Shout for GiveWP] Facebook feed imageHi there,
Apologies for the delay, but congrats! You’re the VERY first support ticket for this new add-on!
There’s a lot of moving parts between all the things you mentioned above. So, the answer is… it depends. Can you provide a link to the following:
1. The form that you’re testing this with
2. A link to an example on FB where you’re seeing this problem.Between those two things I should have all the info I need to help further.
Thanks for this report. We created an issue here if you’d like to follow along.

I’m going to close this ticket, but it will be actually closed when we release version 2.6.1. Thanks!
Glad to hear you got it fixed. But I would also recommend you take a minute to confirm that your webhooks are set correctly — that’s what GiveWP needs to get from Stripe in order to set the donations to Complete correctly.
See our docs on that here:
https://givewp.com/documentation/core/payment-gateways/stripe-free/Thanks!

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Move row to the rightThis should get you most of the way there:
p#give-final-total-wrap { display: inline-block; float: right; clear: both; margin: 20px 0; }Try that and let us know how it works for you. A live link to the results would help us a lot as well though.

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] text overlayHi there,
Our forms don’t look like that by default, so this is most likely a CSS issue caused by conflicting rules in your theme.
Can you provide a live link so we can see the problem live? That way we can help provide a workaround CSS for you.
Thanks!
Hi there,
We’re not allowed to discuss premium add-ons on this free forum. The moderators require that all support for paid add-ons happens offiste. Login and submit your ticket here and we’ll get you taken care of no problem:

Actually… just noticed you already linked to that doc, so perhaps I misunderstand what you need. If you don’t want users to be generated at all, then in the Form Edit screen you need to set the “Form Display > Registration” option to “None”. See docs on that here:
https://givewp.com/documentation/core/give-forms/form-display/If I still misunderstand, then please clarify so we can help further.
HI there! You can’t disable it, but you can change it to any existing user role you have on your site. Just go to “Donations > Settings > Advanced” and update the “Default User Role” setting.
See our docs on that here:
https://givewp.com/documentation/core/settings/advanced/Thanks!

In reply to: [GiveWP - Donation Plugin and Fundraising Platform] Amazing customer supportThanks for the kind review, Rick really is awesome. So glad we’re able to help you have success with your online donations. Keep in touch, we love promoting how organizations are having success with GiveWP!
Let me try to replicate that and see if something changed somehow.
One thing you can do as a workaround is install “User Role Editor”. That will allow you to manage all user roles and capabilities, including delete them.
I’ll report back on Monday with what I find in relation to our deletion routines.
Thanks!
Hi there,
I’m one of the co-author’s of the GiveWP plugin. To fully remove all the GiveWP database tables and user roles do the following:
1. Activate the plugin again
2. Navigate to “Donations > Settings > Advanced”
3. There, enable the option about deleting all data on uninstall
4. Uninstall and delete GiveWPYou should be good to go after that.
Also, just to clarify, we don’t have anything to do with the “Everest Forms Plugin” at all. So if you want to benefit from all the features GiveWP offers, we’d love to help you have success. Just reach out in our contact form and we’re happy to address any problems you might have had.
Thanks!
