Hi @dakeg
Thank you for your prompt response and suggestions.
I must apologize for the oversight on my part. It turns out I had forgotten to create a Gmail account, which was the root cause of the issue. I appreciate your patience and assistance throughout this process.
To answer your questions, I am using the latest versions of WordPress, WP Mail SMTP, and all other plugins and themes. I will also consider your suggestions and try using the SendLayer or Brevo mailers for testing purposes.
Once again, thank you for your support, and I apologize for any inconvenience caused.
Best regards,
Hello @dakeg
Thank you for your support. Unfortunately, the issue persists. I tried your suggestion: “If you have already authorized the connection, please remove it (by clicking the red button that should replace the orange one) and re-authorize the connection. The ‘From Email’ dropdown should then be available.”
However, this step didn’t help. The following message still appears in the mentioned field:
“Please authorize the Gmail email provider first. Specify the sender’s email address in the ‘From’ field.”
I still can’t select any email. Here are the current log details:

I managed it. I only have one more question. I still have this error:
The .user.ini file is readable by web users:
https://xxx/.user.iniThe three xxx that’s where my website comes in.
Or is there a guide on how to add a prefix if you didn’t have one before?
Is there a plugin that can change the prefix?
Can I also add a no database prefix? Or is the side broken then?
