In reply to: [Login by Auth0] Single Logout IssuesIt seems like I’ll have to use the WordPress logout URL for now then.

In reply to: [Login by Auth0] Login redirect issuesI have been referring to the many bugs that these notices have had in the past ‘in general’ and not pointing to how it functions. And to which most of these bugs have seemed to have been fixed recently (including the login redirect notice).
And since Auth0 seems to be inclined to having ‘state-of-the-art’ security, I’ll seem to have to implement this custom feature on my own.

In reply to: [Login by Auth0] Login redirect issuesNo error message has been shown. It seems like the plugin’s messaging system has lots of issues in general for displaying errors.
And yes, I have been trying to point it somewhere outside of my main site because I do use a multisite with sub domains. You should allow the plugin user to make the choice on setting to an outside URL but with the notification that you consider it to be ‘insecure.’

In reply to: [Login by Auth0] Additional user attributesI’ve added a custom database connection in Auth0 that has custom attributes. How can those attributes be saved to the WordPress profile upon login?

In reply to: [Login by Auth0] Cannot simultaneously stay signed in on non-auth0 accountThis plugin seems to work with merging accounts.

In reply to: [Login by Auth0] Cannot simultaneously stay signed in on non-auth0 accountTo remind you, I was using this system because automatic setup seems to seamlessly merge my admin account into Auth0 correctly. I cannot use the automatic setup at this time due to user migration.

In reply to: [Login by Auth0] Cannot simultaneously stay signed in on non-auth0 accountI have SSO and SLO turned on. I have also turned off the only cache plugin I had installed (WP Super Cache) and it will still log me out when I try to sign in without Auth0.

In reply to: [Login by Auth0] Don’t need user migrationI’m sorry, however the issue has not been solved. User migration is very complicated and ruins the entire smooth process for getting Auth0 started.
Here are a couple of issues I’ve observed with user migration.
First, the admin account will not be properly merged (if I choose to manually set it up) as it does properly merge when I choose automatic setup. Then, administrators will have to rely on using the wp-login.php?wle URL to sign into their admin account (which currently does not work: see this post).
I choose not to use automatic setup for my sites just because of this feature. The user migration feature cannot be turned off after it is activated.
Secondly, say a regular person just downloaded Auth0. Then, they don’t know why SSO doesn’t process correctly with other sites and have to use extra documentation just to remove it (if it even is easily removable).
Lastly, to remind you, people that want to migrate their existing users (which would be rarely limited to those with old WordPress sites & users) should simply activate it and configure it for themselves only.
There is no sense in turning on user migration for regular users in an automatic setup process and needs to be removed.
