@xmiax There is a broken link for Claude Code on that page. It should be https://claude.com/product/claude-code

Oh dear, AI. I should have guessed. But thanks for clarifying.

Thanks for checking this, @bcworkz. Funny, I had not seen it myself for 9 years, but my editors on 2 different sites started complaining about this recently. Could be that I never trashed and restored posts since I have editors doing most of the content.

That setting refers to the WP Users form on the frontend website. It’s not related to manually adding users via WP Admin.

?? I just used those settings to fix the situation for users that had been added via WP Admin and did not get the newsletter. We don’t have front-end registration. Neither do hundreds of thousands, maybe millions of other volunteer based sports clubs and other non-profits worldwide that use WordPress for their website. We have local people as members, we don’t want random Internet users to register.

    Hello @guicmazeredo ,

The dropdown shows here as well, but my issue is that it defaults to ‘Unsubscribed’. Some of us forget to change it to ‘Subscribed’. As a result the new member is not getting our newsletter, which is essential to take part in our activities.

I’m missing the point of making this MailPoet Subscriber Status part of the Add User form. In MailPoet settings there is already a choice to use the WordPress Users list or not and you can change the status of individual addresses.

I removed the link to our website. We were receiving commercial offers to solve this on guessed addresses within our domain.

Is there any reason why you are not sending with the MailPoet Sending Service?

Yes, money. This is a very low-budget volunteers organization. And we prefer to rely on local services.
As I wrote, the limit is 250 per hour and we never come even close to that. I have a lot of experience arranging SPF, DKIM, DMARC etc. to be perfect and we hardly ever have delivery issues. The hosts IP(-range) never appears on blacklists. At the same hosting provider I’m sending newsletters using TNP on 4 other sites at 220 per hour, also no issues. And no errors in the log.

The error is a ‘false positive’ IMHO, I was just wandering if it’s a MailPoet issue or something like queuing on the server that makes MailPoet believe there is an error. What is this "worker":"SendingQueue"?

Same here. Leave blank to allow any does not work as suggested, regardless the setting ‘Any type’ or ‘Image’. Front-end upload stopped working and contributors get an error message ‘Error during upload’ in a microscopic font.
I only got it back to work by adding jpg, png to allowed extensions. Unfortunately I cannot allow webp and avif, even though these file types work fine in EM if I add them later as admin.

Thanks, @dglingren . I can confirm that the issue is gone with v 3.26.

The reason might be that there is no FQDN after the <a href=”
My pagination links look like this:

    <a class="page-numbers" href="https://example.com/page/2/">2</a>

Site Health now says: “Have a default theme available > Your site does not have any default theme. Default themes are used by WordPress automatically if anything is wrong with your chosen theme.” Never seen that before.

This definitely sounds like a policy change. Maybe someone improved WP’s ability to fall back on a default theme. I cannot find clear documentation about it. On a staging site where I renamed the active theme’s directory in ftp it did not fall back to Twenty Twenty-Five automatically. I could only switch manually in the dashboard.

    (@willemb2)

No, it was only installed not activated. But I have never seen this happen before. Over the past 15 years or so Site Health has always been notifying me about unused themes until I removed the last Twenty something theme.

With your purchase of the Premium version, you support further maintenance and development of the plugin

Sure, but usually plugins here on ww.wp.xz.cn have some basic functionality in the free version that allows to evaluate without cost and time limit and is sometimes sufficient for a non-profit like a local sports club. In that case we ‘pay’ for it by carefully reporting bugs here.
It is still unclear to me if the free version of Pronamic has any usable functionality. I could not define any payments and in every screen I kept getting a warming that I needed to activate a license.

In the almost 2 weeks that passed since I started this topic we evaluated the other iDeal plugin and after we got it working well with the free version we bought the Pro version to make custom e-mails with invoices.

But WHY is it included? What made the people who seem to like pineapple on their pizza decide to push an extra theme to half a million sites that already have a theme?

    • If I need a new theme, it is very easy to find one. This has been organized very well on ww.wp.xz.cn/themes and the recent Twenty something themes are always on top of the list.
    • If the community wants to notify me of the availability of a new theme, there is the ‘About WordPress’ section that pops up after each update and also the WordPress News and Events section in the dashboard.
    • Another component of WordPress, Site Health, always tells me to uninstall unused themes. So that has always been the first thing I do after installing WordPress and choosing a theme.
