You can also put
define(‘DISABLE_WP_CRON’, true);
into your wp-config.php file to disable the Cron spawning.
And also use a caching plugin; all I need to do now is have a cronjob run from cron?
I am wondering how often the cronjob need to be ran?
Does it only need to run when it needs to use one of the auto content plugins?

Do you think that W3 Total Cache plugin or WP super cache would help as well?
