In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Changes in .Po file do not show in the pageAh ok, thanks Barry! So now I need to figure out which language file is being read by the plugin. My WP is in English, but the Events Calendar plugin is reading a Portuguese language file. I checked the language files with Po/Mo editor and there are three portuguese files. How do I figure out which one of those three is the one? I can’t remember…
New information: I accessed the language folder through FileZilla, and tried to open the .Mo file, but I got this message saying that it can’t be edited using Po Editor, and that I should edit the .Po file, which will generate a .Mo automatic update. But I already updated the .Po file, like i told you. So what kind of changes were you saying that I should do to the .Mo? I admit I’m a bit lost here.. π

In reply to: [The Events Calendar] Changes in .Po file do not show in the pageHey, Barry! Thank you so much for you answer, brother.
When I tried changing the .Po file, there was also a .Mo file in the directory, with the same name (as for all the other languages). Are you saying that after editing the .Po i should edit/update the .Mo?I had also tried Poeditor but it wasn’t working, I think there was some problem with the version I downloaded. First, anytime I clicked any string to edit it, a new page opened (it went to my website), which made it really hard to work to with. And then I never found the string I wanted to translate. I did it using an app i downloaded for Mac, translated the string, and now I checked again using Po/Mo editor plugin in WP and found the string there, correctly translated.
The question is: if the .Po editor is correctly configured, why does the page

keep showing the incorrect version? Should I do something to the .Mo file? Or might it be a kind of “refresh/update” problem, and how to solve it?

But when I open the WP library, I can’t see the thumbnails of a bunch of the pictures, can’t open them in wp, and when I try to open a URL, let’s say this onehttp://projetoalimentodesperto.pt/wp-content/uploads/2015/10/restelopagina.jpg
I get a 404 error

It really is working now, I don’t know why! We’ve been changing lots of settings in the website, I don’t know what made the difference, but the important is it’s working now.
Thank you, take care!
