Hey @supportray, thanks for that info, that is very reassuring!
I’ll go ahead and activate the plugin on a new 5.0 site.
Thanks again! 🙂
@mbrsolution, sure, np.
I’ll definitely let you know of any anomalies right away!
Hey @mbrsolution, good to hear, thanks for the reply! 🙂
I activated the plugin yesterday on a new site running WP 5.0, shortly after starting this thread.
Imported my standard settings, which include putting the site into Maintenance Mode. Made some minor config changes. Performed an initial backup of wp-config.php, .htaccess, the WP Database, and AIOWPS Settings.
So far it works like a charm, no issues.

In reply to: [The GDPR Framework By Data443] Does anybody actually get any support here?I stand corrected, there are a number of queries which have received a timely and appropriate answer from the developer. However, it appears that the vast majority have not been attended to due to this being a side project for him, and that he shoulders the technical side of this project alone, without help from any other developers. A laudable effort indeed, but ultimately lacking if it means that this project cannot be kept current, with bug fixes and updates left undone for too long. I guess we’ll just have to see how this project pans out. In the meantime, I’ll be evaluating a couple of other GDPR plugins in the WordPress Plugins Repository that also sound promising, and which seem to be updated more often.
OK Cory, thanks a million! 🙂
Hey Cory,
Thanks again! 🙂
I did not filter out any files, everything should have been archived.
Sorry to be a bother, but just want to make sure I understand correctly…
The files I have downloaded and archived off my web server are *_archive.zip and installer.php, and I did not filter out anything when performing the backup with Duplicator. Besides those files (*_archive.zip and installer.php), the following files reside under wp-snapshots on the web server:
– *.log
– *_database.sql
– *_scan.json
– dtoken.php
– index.php
– robots.txtSince I have archived off-site the *_archive.zip and installer.php files, can I delete all the files on the web server under the wp-snapshots sub-dir, or should I also download and archive the 6 files listed above before deleting them?
Again, sorry to be a bother, and thank you very much for your very valuable time! 🙂
Hey Cory,
Thank you very much for your reply! 🙂
Further question: are those files bundled into the ZIP file portion of the Backup Package already, or should I also download and archive them?
