As you may know, the development team of this plugin has changed. A new team started to work on this plugin to make it secure, stable and free for everyone.
This process was long and time consuming, but we think new 8.1.x release is a big step forward.Since this review is talking about the old dev team, we hope you can write a new one for the new team, after you verified how the plugin has improved.

Yes, please also specify the language you’re using.
Try the plugin in english and see if everything is ok.
Unfortunately several translations had issues breaking html code. We ensured NO HTML is included in current release to avoid these issues.

About getting new chats, you can work on other browser tabs or windows. The only problem is that you don’t get sound notifications. This is a browser restriction.
But you still get popup notification for incoming chat requests.
If you need more, you can enable email notification when a new visitor wants to chat, Settings -> Chat Box -> Chat notifications.Hope this helps!
