Hello,
Firstly, I would like to sincerely apologize for the delayed response as we have been experiencing an unusually high number of tickets.
I am sorry that it has taken longer than usual to respond to your concern and your patience is highly appreciated.
When it comes to filtering a Table to only show the rows which the currently logged user made;
This is possible in our premium Plugin version with advanced column filtering and placeholders;
but it is not available in the Lite Version.If you wish to know more details how that works,
please open a ticket on our main Support platform here,and one of our Agents will respond as quickly as possible.
If you don’t have a licence (or if it expired), please open a pre-purchase ticket which doesn’t require a purchase code.
Premium products are not supported in these forums, as per this comment by ww.wp.xz.cn moderators.
Thank you for understanding.

Yes. This is caused by our Plugin’s latest couple of updates, our developers introduced new error checking for tables linked from Excel/CSV Data;
but they are already intensively working on a fix which can resolve this issue.
Can you please send us your source Excel file so that we can inspect it and we will do our best to provide you with a fix as quickly as possible?
If the file does not have any sensitive data, you can upload it to weTransfer and send us a download link here.
If the Excel contains any sensitive data, in that case please open a ticket on our main Support platform here, and one of our Agents will respond as quickly as possible.If you don’t have a licence (or if it expired), please open a pre-purchase ticket which doesn’t require a purchase code.
If you wish a quick temporary solution, you can download version 2.1.71 version here.
Just scroll down to the “Previous Versions” section and you can ‘downgrade’ your Live site installation to that version since it has the ‘old error checking’.
Please note : Previous versions of plugins may not be secure or stable. They are not recommended for use on production websites.
So let us know if you could send us your Excel file, it can help our developers to make a quicker fix when we can gather sample data from our users like this.

You are probably trying to use the Simple Table type?
It is not possible to create a Chart from Simple tables.
Can you please try with any other Table type, and you will be able to pick that as source data for your Charts?
Let us know if you have any additional questions.
Thank you.
Hello again @futureyoon,
Just a small follow-up on this topic.
We checked with our developers and they confirm that, at the moment, the solution you found is the best possible one, with our Plugin’s current capabilities and built-in options, etc.
Thank you very much again for sharing it with us.
As mentioned above, you can follow our ChangeLog where we will advise when a built-in/better solution might be added;
and you can subscribe to the Newsletter to stay informed as well.
Kind regards.Hello,
Thank you for sharing that workaround with us.
We passed it to our developers, they will review it and we will make a note of it.
If the developers come up with a better/more ‘elegant’ workaround to achieve this, we will make sure to report back on this Post and share it with you.
If you wish to see a built-in option in the Plugin interface to choose the position of the ‘scrollable’/horizontal scroll, you can leave a development suggestion, we just can’t say an ETA on it.
Please feel free to search on our suggestions page (https://features.wpdatatables.com/), to see if someone may be already suggested this feature. If you can’t see it, feel free to add your suggestion there, and as more people vote, the feature will move higher on the priority list. You can certainly follow our changeLog if you’d like(https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/wpdatatables/#developers), where we state any changes/new features/bug fixes during updates; and our newsletter(https://wpdatatables.com/newsletter/), so you’re informed about new features, bug fixes, freebies, etc.Hello,
If we understood, you wish to set up one or more filters for the user to choose – and to then only run the Query with the ‘narrowed data’ which is chosen from the filters?
If that is the case, we should have a solution, but not with the Lite Plugin version.Since you’re using the Premium version of the plugin, please open a ticket on our main Support platform here,
and one of our Agents will respond as quickly as possible.
If you don’t have a licence (or if it expired), please open a pre-purchase ticket which doesn’t require a purchase code.

Hello,
Apology for replying so late to this question.
You will be able to use an easy CSS solution to hide that Filter;
But since you’re using the Premium version of the plugin, please open a ticket on our main Support platform here,and one of our Agents will respond as quickly as possible to provide you with the solution.
You can just send them the link to this correspondence and they will send you the workaround right away.If you don’t have a licence (or if it expired), please open a pre-purchase ticket which doesn’t require a purchase code.

Hello guys,
I am happy to report, our Developers isolated and fixed this issue with a new small Update, which is released now.
Please update your wpDataTables Lite to 3.4.2.8 version and now you should no longer see this issue for the Forminator integration.
We apologise for that inconvenience.
Let us know if the new Update fixes this for you ( it should).
Thank you.Hello,
Firstly we apologize for replying so late to this issue.
Thank you for your patience.
In the new plugin versions, our developers introduced improved error checking for Tables linked from source files and improved error handling.Our Plugin is based on libraries from DataTables JQuery Plugin, it follows some of their main limitations – one of them is not being able to have empty/blank Header name in any Column from the linked Table’s data source file.
Previously, ( on Lite version 2.1.71 or older) we had some specific User cases where they were able to have one or more Columns with empty Header Names on the source files for linked Tables ( such as CSV/Excel) and that somehow worked – even though it should not – our Plugin was intended like that from the start, to not allow any blank Headers on the Table’s source data.
From now on – that will no longer be possible, so please check your source file ( Csv/Excel) and make sure that each column has a Header Name.
We will not be changing this error checking because it needs to exist for some other important new Plugin functionalities.
I am sorry if that causes an inconvenience.
If you can’t isolate the issue on your own, our Support can help you try to isolate what the issue is with the source File.
If you can’t find any empty Headers, can you please send us your source File?
If it does not contain any sensitive data, you can wrap it inside a zipped folder and upload it anywhere like weTransfer/GoogleDrive and send us a download link.
Then we can inspect your file and reproduce the error on our end.
Or, if your file has any sensitive Data, please open a PRIVATE pre-purchase ticket (which doesn’t require a purchase code) and send your source file to our Agents there – they will try to debug it as quickly as possible.
–
If you don’t wish to debug the issue with your file, another option will be to downgrade your Lite Plugin version to an older version which does not have this error checking. You can download version 2.1.71 version here. Just scroll down to the “Previous Versions” section. Please note : Previous versions of plugins may not be secure or stable. They are not recommended for use on production websites.

Kind regards.
Hello,
We got feedback from our Main support on that ticket.
They checked all the details for you and found the issue seems to be coming from your Hosting Server which is holding that Database.
It is some kind of permissions issue – Our Plugin is being denied from creating new Tables in that Database;
They will keep following up on that ticket, so just check their reply, we hope the issue gets solved as soon as possible.
Thank you.Hi Gavin,
You’re welcome.
Let us know how it goes and if you isolate a conflict;
As an important Note, we also need to confirm if you are using the Lite or Premium Version of our Plugin, if we need to provide further assistance after that.
Thank you.Hi HJ,
Our sincere apologies for not catching your reply here right away.
Thank you for your patience.
My apology, when i inspected the HTML of your cells, it seemed that you added Custom CSS in order to have a specific width and height of each image;
but now after your clarification and when I looked closer, I realise that was just simply their default size in the cells.
In regards to how the middle image shrunk in your case;
That is because the width of your middle Column is smaller than the width of the left and right Columns.
We reproduced the same behaviour, as you saw from our examples/screenshots.
This is how our Simple Table’s handle transposing the Column width to the image size.
For any Column that has lesser width, that image is going to shrink by default to ‘compensate’ and to keep its’ aspect ratio’ .
In regards to that CSS i sent you – Yes, that is because the Media Query i made is only when the device screen width does not go over 480 pixels, so@media only screen and (max-width: 480px) { .wpdt-c.wpDataTableContainerSimpleTable .wpdtSimpleTable td img { width : 100px !important; height: 100px !important; } }In that Media Query (breakpoint), this CSS is only being applied when the screen with is less or equal to 480px.
If you wish to try adding more Custom CSS for the image to have a different height and width for other devices, like tablets, or when someone switches their Phone to a Portrait View;
you would need to add more Media Queries and specify the Screen Width for each Device/View.
For example, our default value for Tablet Width is 1024px; so for Tablets, you can add another Media Query like :@media only screen and (max-width: 1024px) { .wpdt-c.wpDataTableContainerSimpleTable .wpdtSimpleTable td img { width : 100px !important; height: 100px !important; } }
You can also try to experiment to change from pixel value to a percentage value, and see if that works better.
Now we have reached the limit to what our Support can cover in terms of custom solutions, but I hope this could help to get you started in the right direction.
As we said earlier, if you have any suggestion how we can improve all of this, you can leave a Development Suggestion and our management along with the developers will do their best to create improvements in the future.
Thank you.- This reply was modified 2 years, 3 months ago by wpDataTables.
