Unfortunately, this would be an enhancement that we don’t have with the plugin right now.
To add this feature to our plugin, we would need to update it and therefore, it would take some time.
We don’t have the feature where the past events can appear in some website’s homepage.

Actually, after closely reading your requirements, we conclude that these features are not available with us at the moment.
Moreover, if you want these features to be in your site, then, unfortunately, that would make this a case of personal customization.
We can’t help our customers in case of private customization.

This is indeed possible.
Please go: Dashboard >> wp eventmanager >> settings >> Event Listings.
Over here, there’s an option: Hide Expired Listings.
If it is checked, please uncheck that and save changes.
The past events should be coming.Thank You,
