Oh!! I do have one more question!! If I receive files as .odt can I open them up in MS Word or do I need the same program?
Thank you!
Thank you Amin! I must clarify that when I wrote: ‘I cannot see the ODT option’ – I was getting ahead of myself and simply typing into Google “can Forminator accept ODT files?” The Google answer led me to believe that Forminator does not have this option.
I have now gone into the settings and can indeed see the .odt option. I have ticked it and updated it.
Thank you for clarifying this option and apologies for not being clear.
Thank you Adam, I must admit I rushed to post my reply without reading your first answer in detail so apologies for missing what you said about the root cause. I agree it could be a DNS configuration issue so I will start with those two links you sent me. Thanks heaps for being so diligent (and patient!).
Hello Adam
After extensive trial and error I discovered it’s because the email I’m using has a .au extension. That extension has just come onto the market in lieu of .com.au.
So I changed it to .com in the header field seeing as though it’s one of those noreply email addresses, and it works. The emails are now being sent and the resending email function also works.
The user can’t reply to it anyway as it’s a noreply adddress, but it would be good to know down the track if Forminator can be configured to recognise .au
