Sorry for the delay. Unforunately, the client is unwilling to reactivate Site Kit at this time.
I’m not sure why you’re not able to see any Google Tags. I can definitely see them in Tag Assistant when I’m using it on the site. And the analytical traffic in GA4 has definitely picked back up.
The tags are currently inserted manually into the HTML head instead of via Site Kit.
I do agree that Consent Mode is the likely culprit, its just a bit unusual that Analytics Traffic took a sudden dive when we updated Site Kit. It could be just a coincidence!
I’m afraid for the moment, I will need to mark this as resolved as I don’t think we can go any further into investigating this.

Yes, its inactive right now as this website was concerned about its traffic. And since turning off Site Kit solved the problem, its been left off.
I did turn it on briefly to take the screenshot for the form, but I then deactivated it again. I apologise for the oversight with the analytic tags. They should be there now!
I’ll enquiry if I’m allowed to reactivate site kit for a longer-term basis for you to carry out your checks.
(Also, we’re based in the UK, and Imgur is no longer available here so I can’t actually view your screenshots!)

Thank you for responding, I understand. I did find it a bit strange that things have suddenly stopped working properly.
We use Complianz to implement Consent mode as required by the EU/UK. But we have been using that setup for nearly a year now with no problem. When we updated Site Kit to the latest version last week, we noticed an immediate drop in traffic (which I’ve submitted via that form). But it then fully recovered when we disabled Site Kit.
Search console shows no drop in traffic at all, it simply appears to be a reporting/recording issue. It’s possibly related to Consent Mode but I haven’t made any changes to it recently (apart from the Site Kit update) so I’m unsure what might have changed.

Hello pixelite (or anyone who found themselves in the same situation) is there any advice when the plugin is not working as it should, in this manner?
Editing the “event-editor.php” code works for me… any chance of an official update of the plugin to fix this mistake?
