what date are you referring to?
we have 3 dates for polls
– added date
– start date (could be null if there’s no start date defined)

Since multiple other answers is not supported in the current version, an workaround would be to allow multiple votes per user so they can submit all their nominees.
I just ran a test with the settings you mentioned and I was able to vote multiple times( until I reached the limit set by “Voters per user”).
Can you let us know what version you are running?

When “Add other answers in answers list” is set to “No” and “Display other answers in results list” is set to “Yes”, these other answers will be displayed in results after people vote (if you have “Show Results” set to “After Vote”).
Are you not seeing this behaviour?

You can do this when creating/updating a poll under Options -> Access tab.
Since you are allowing votes from guest users, you can set “Block Voters” to “By Cookie” and/or “By IP Address”.Hope this helps.

We do not recommend editing any of the plugin files as it will be overwritten when we release a new update.
