There is a difference between widget and archive.
In the widget you can display only one poll and you can choose which one to display.
In the archive you can display several polls (all polls created, only active polls, only ended polls).
If this doesn’t help, can you give us more details on what you’re trying to accomplish so we may assist further?

Edit your poll and on Options -> Access tab set “Vote Permissions” to “Guest” only.
This should fix the issue you are experiencing.

I agree with you.
Currently it’s a bit confusing.Going to try to explain (better this time I hope).
In the free version you can set “End Date” to “Custom Date” and choose a date and time from the calendar.
Polls with “End Date” set to “Custom Date” won’t accept any votes after the date chosen.
This way you don’t have to worry about manually closing votes for a poll.What is extra in the pro version is the ability to display the “Custom Date” on the poll (regular format or as a countdown).
I hope this clears the confusion.

This feature is not listed at all in the free version.
I mean, you can set an end date for a poll in the free version but there is no option to display this date on a poll.In the pro version there is a dedicated option for this.

The fix is permanent.
But the change should take effect right after clearing cache for the website/page.
