Here is the problem in details:
I have done the basic setup (WordPress blog on Godaddy) and been given the most simple wordpress template, so I would like to replace it with another theme.
Now I have experimented with different wordpress templates e.g. blue edition 1.0 and prosense (all checked & validated by ww.wp.xz.cn) and I constantly get the error message “
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: get_header() in /home/content/y/i/d/nameofthesite/html/blog/index.php on line 1
(I replaced the name of the site).I have checked the header php and e.g. on prosense it is
the usual “<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC “- etc. etc.”The index.php is the normal
<?php get_header(); ?>Maybe I messed up something on my own computer. Can you help me please? I feel devastated.
Oh, and of course I have been trying to use the FTP Client in Content on GoDaddy to send files from my macbook to the FTP client, rather than some uploading program.
