This is only an issue on small screens when the map itself is small as well. For now I would recommend adjusting the mobile height so that the map gets enough space.
However – I will try to find a solution for an upcoming update.
Best regards,
DanielWow your map is growing fast! I’m glad your project works out well. And thanks for the kind words.
You could share the map with other websites via iFrame. There is no built-in function for that but basically you create a dedicated page on your website that has the map only (no header, footer, etc). This URL then can be used as an iFrame source on any other website.
Haven’t tested this but I guess it would work. You can try by yourself here.
Best regards,
DanielThanks!

I’ve just updated the support article to explain this in more detail.

In reply to: [Open User Map – Interactive Leaflet Maps] Map starting pointHi @joashenrique,
You can “simulate” a click on the “Show me where I am” button on page load. Here is a support article where I described how to do this.
Just make sure to execute this after the page has been fully loaded.

DanielHi @wordmax,
Okay, I will try to find a way to optimise this. There are some factors that need to be considered here.
I just published a support article on how to reposition the searchbar. This should be helpful in some cases.
Best regards,
Daniel@wordmax I couldn’t reproduce this. Does this happen for certain locations? Can you give an example?
Hi @wordmax,
okay, here’s my feedback on your ideas:
- user tags: low priority
- removing html tags from frontend editor: high priority
- user roles: use a 3rd party plugin
- “close” at the bottom: low priority (but I like it)
Best regards,
DanielHI @wordmax,
There is not such an option. I assume it’s possible to change the oum-location slug with a 3rd party plugin though.
“oum-useruploads” needs to be consistent for now.
Best regards,
DanielThanks @wordmax for your suggestion.
This makes sense and I will consider this for a next update.

In reply to: [Open User Map – Interactive Leaflet Maps] Restricted value types or markers?Hi @playfulcloud,
At the moment this is out of scope.
However – I guess it would already be possible to achieve this with custom code. Think of CSS hiding options depending on the current user role.
Best regards,
DanielYes, as I already replied in your other thread – I’m planning to implement other geo search providers as well. Mapbox is definitely a candidate.
Best regards,
DanielHi @wordmax,
I’m planning to extend the geo search with other providers. Currently this is a free service which has some limitations (but works fine basically).

In reply to: [Open User Map – Interactive Leaflet Maps] User forum for Pro version?Hi @wordmax,
There is the support area where all sources of helpful information are listed. At the moment I’m delegating the PRO requests from this public wordpress forum to the email support. After a problem has been solved and is of public interest I’m extending the Knowledge Base.
For now I’m fine with this approach. But thanks for the idea!
Best regards,
Daniel
