The map always scales to the width of the surrounding container. In terms of responsiveness this makes more sense than a fixed width. However, if you’d like I could add this to the next release. What you you think?

Thanks for reaching out! Sure, this is possible. The most recent release (v1.2.18) brought exactly that. You can set custom fields as private. So your users will be asked for egg. username or email but this information will never show up on the map. It will be available in the backend.

In reply to: [Open User Map] Comments/review/vote on a LocationsOne way could be to enable the PRO feature “Public Pages for Locations”. Then each marker is linked to a single page. You can create a template for this single page yourself incl. 3rd party rating/review widgets. Comments are allowed by default.

Just a quick note. I’ve released version 1.2.18 today and this targets your issue with the form loads off view as well. It should work after you’ve updated.
Here are the cool features of this version:

- Feature Request: custom min zoom, custom map bounds
- Feature Request: support m4a audio format
- Feature Request: address search field on map

[open-user-map-gallery]on the same page as your map is (PRO Feature).Here are all the cool features of this version:

Just a quick note. I’ve released version 1.2.18 today and this targets your issues with the map max zoom and fixed map position as well. Both are now adjustable in the Settings > Open User Map > General.

Probably the best solution in this case would be an automatic scroll to the top of the form. I will implement a solution with the next release. Should be ready in a couple of days.
Thanks for your other suggestions as well. I’ve put them to my list of possible future extensions (with a medium priority though). Meanwhile you could use “Types” (marker categories) to provide a better overview about the pins.

Thanks for reaching out again. The images don’t show up due to some conflict with a “lazy loading” feature of another plugin. I can see you are using Jetpacks Lazy Loading. Please try to disable lazy loading for these images and they should get visible again.

with the next release there will also be a shortcode to render all images as gallery. This was already requested by other users and should be useful in your case too.
Please post a link to your page with the “Page I need help with” field so I can have a look on your specific styles. I need to see this to fully understand 🙂

Currently I don’t plan to extend the functionality (excluding bugfixes) of “Locations and Areas” as my main focus is on “Open User Map”. There is no export/import interface yet.
