In reply to: [Open User Map] Filters on location listHi @oaz,
Thanks for reaching out. The List shortcode that is shipped with Open User Map just provides a simple list with not much extra features. However – you can always create a custom list according to your needs with the page builder tool of your choice.
This works because locations are a custom post type (oum-location) like other posts and pages. Each post has an excerpt text, categories and featured images like posts.
For example in Gutenberg you could use the Query Loop block to load locations into a list or grid view. In Elementor or Bricks you’ll find dynamic loop blocks as well which can then be extended to have search and order features.

In reply to: [Open User Map] Translate ‘Read more’ buttonHi @angie77,
Open User Map uses the translation string from the WordPress core. Please translate the WordPress core string “Read more”.

In reply to: [Open User Map] Autoloading too many wp_optionsHello @mahyulan,
The options autoload for quick access without extra database queries, and given that they are lightweight, they shouldn’t slow down your site. There hasn’t been similar reports from other users so far, but I’ll keep an eye on this.

In reply to: [Open User Map] Using a custom Mapbox styleHi @reubencross,
Thanks for the kind words. Unfortunately this is not possible at the moment. But I will add this as a feature request for a future update. Although I like the idea this will take some time before it becomes available as I have to take care of other requests before that.

In reply to: [Open User Map] Public pages for selected locations onlyHi @annevoelkel,
This is not possible by default. However – this should be doable if you customize the output of the location bubble. Using PHP, you could set a condition that determines the output of the “more” button.
Hope that helps,

In reply to: [Open User Map] lightbox hookCool 😉

In reply to: [Open User Map] lightbox hookHi @angie77,
I’ve tested the above script (added it to my theme’s functions.php) and it worked.
Note that this script does not automatically add a lightbox feature to your WordPress installation. It just shows you how you can modify the location images to add a lightbox effect or something else. You need to have a lightbox plugin additionally.
I’ve just released a support article on how to setup everything in order to make this work.

In reply to: [Open User Map] Map not showing / JS errorHi @honzakopta,
I looks like you are using a plugin/script for email address obfuscation (to protect from spam bots). Can you please try to disable this and see if the error goes away?
