The homepage setup in the GamerNews, the child theme of MoreNews, can feel restrictive if the template isn’t switched. By default, it loads the editorial front-page with slider and widgets, but you can easily use your own page layout by changing the template:
- Default Template → editorial layout with slider/widgets
- Canvas Template → content only (no banners/widgets)
- Page Builder Template → your content with the theme’s header & footer

Hi, we’re really sorry for the inconvenience caused. It seems that you may have imported the full demo content from the Starter Sites section, which includes placeholders texts. If you’re looking for design-only options without such content, we recommend using Template Kits or Block Patterns instead.

However, we appreciate your suggestion, and we’ll work on incorporating this feature in a future update. For now, you can manually add schema markup using a code snippet or SEO plugin that supports structured data. If you need guidance, feel free to reach out to us.

Great to know you’ve found the way. If you tend to customize the function, then it will be under chromenews/inc/template-image.php with the function name chromenews_the_post_thumbnail().

First off, thanks for reaching out to us. It seems you are using a function from the previous theme. But our theme also has such functionality. You can check it from https://ww.wp.xz.cn/themes/chromenews/ “Preview” button.
We’ve also browsed your site and found some of the posts neither have featured image nor content images, would you please be more specific to our support team?

We have updated the plugin with Multi-Author to enable disable functionality from the WP Post Author admin menu. It is under WP Post Author>Settings> Multi-author tab, which has been disabled by default.
Also, other issues on listing all posts from the specific author have been fixed. Would you please check and confirm that?Please feel free to contact support with any kind of difficulties regarding the plugin.
