In the meantime, rolling back to version 1.7.22 should keep things working on your end.

Regarding your first question, the MailerLite WooCommerce plugin identifies a cart as abandoned based on the email field on the checkout page. The data sync occurs as soon as a customer enters their email address and moves their cursor away from the field, which allows the system to capture the address and link it to the cart items. It is important to note that the customer does not need to proceed to the payment or click the “Place Order” button for this to happen; simply filling out the email field is sufficient for the system to recognize the user. However, marketing consent is vital for the automation to function. If a customer unchecks the consent box, MailerLite record their choice and will not trigger the abandoned cart email.
Regarding the tracking of carts on the cart page itself, the standard plugin functionality does not support this because WooCommerce typically only identifies a user’s email at the checkout stage.
