    ReelsWP can use videos that are already uploaded in your WordPress Media Library, so there’s no need to re-upload them.

    When creating reels, you can simply select existing videos directly from the media gallery. By default, it works seamlessly with your media library content.

    Additionally, if you prefer to use third-party hosted videos, that’s also supported.

    You can install the plugin and explore the admin side directly on your site.

    1. Reel opening at the top of the page
      Thanks for reporting this. We are currently investigating this issue to determine whether it is caused by a theme or plugin conflict, or by the reel plugin itself. Our team is actively working on it, and we will review the behavior in detail and get back to you with an update as soon as possible.
    2. Cover image / poster for reels
      Yes, this is absolutely possible. We are already working on an upcoming plugin update where you will be able to set a thumbnail (cover image) for reels. This update will be launched soon, and we will notify you once it is released.
    3. Closing reels by clicking outside the player
      This is a great usability suggestion. We have noted this and added it to our future update roadmap. We will keep you informed when this improvement is implemented.
