Great! Glad you got it working and found the cause of the issue. If you like BNFW and the support, please feel free to leave an honest review.
Hi @ambrogio78,
Thanks for confirming. Are you using a 3rd party login plugin or anything else that adds fields to the login screen?
Hi @ambrogio78,
Thanks for your message. Can you tell me which notifications you’re using and how many users you’re sending each to?
Is it all notifications you’re received duplicates for or just a few?Hi @bjorn78,
If your issue is related to WordPress specifically, try here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/
If it’s related to WooCommerce, try here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/woocommerce/Hi @bjorn78,
I’m sorry, I can’t help with this specifically – this forum is for the Better Notifications for WP plugin.
If you need WordPress specific help, the forum you’re looking for can be found here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/view/all-topics/All the best!
Hi @juliereader,
Are you able to elaborate a bit more on what you mean by “not working” so I can help?Hi @juliereader,
You could try deactivating the WP Mail SMTP plugin and using the Post SMTP plugin instead. It’s free and comes with an email log which could be helpful for you.Let me know how you get on.
@jchambo I can provide support for this as this isn’t related to the plugin that this forum is for.

I would advise testing without disabling the Admin notification in your functions.php file, just to rule this out as a potential cause.
Does the log of the WP Mail SMTP plugin show that an email was sent successfully but then was not received by the recipient?Hi @juliereader,
Thanks for your message. Are you able to provide a bit more detail about how you’re triggering the New User Register notification(s)?
I.e. are you registering users via the WP Admin, are they registering via the default WordPress registration form, or are you using a plugin?
Can you also tell me a bit more about what you’re disabling using your functions.php file?Hi @htw1179,
I’m sorry, I can’t help with this specifically – this forum is for the Better Notifications for WP plugin.
You may need the forum for the CRM Perks plugin specifically. I’m not sure if this is the right one but this is the first one I found: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/crm-perks-forms/All the best!
Hi @ralf-r,
Yes, that’s correct. This is one of the reasons why BNFW was created – to allow for more configuration of these default WordPress notifications.Hi @ralf-r,
The default one that is sent by WordPress does, yes. Better Notifications for WP allows you to override this and send it to whoever you want instead.Hi @ralf-r,
No problem. If the site admin has a user account, then you should be able to just send it to that specific user.
Otherwise, you can use the Send to Any Email add-on to just send it to an email address that’s not attached to a user account.
