“This website is coming soon” page still appears. I tried cleaning up the files in File Manager, and I performed another automatic install of WordPress. No change.

I explained to GoDaddy that 4 of 5 domains on the same shared hosting account are operating successfully, and they informed me that the dedicated IP address for my domain name is incorrect.

They suggested that I contact the domain registrar (1 & 1) to correct the issue. The domain registrar assisted me with the change, and I was told it may take 24 – 48 hours for the update to be completed.

I am skeptical about the instructions I received from the domain registrar, because I didn’t have to go through this process with the other 4 domain names with the successful WordPress installs.

Performed automatic uninstall followed by install on original domain name again, no change. (I waited at least 20 minutes.)

I will uninstall, and re-install later, allowing several hours to pass.

    MichaelH,

Regarding my not being able to access my files through FileZilla FTP Client, I beleive it was because I was using the Windows version of Filezilla FTP Client, because my shared hosting account was originally set up for Windows.

The problem started to occur after I switched from Windows hosting to Linux hosting.

    MichaelH,

I completed automatic installs of WordPress on 4 other domains under the same shared hosting account, and everything looks great!

However, afterward, I did an automatic uninstall of WordPress on the initial domain name, followed by a new automatic install.

Now, a page with the following information appears:

    “This Website is coming soon!”

    and

“If you are the owner of this web site you have not uploaded (or incorrectly uploaded) your web site. For information on uploading your web site using FTP client software or web design software, click here for FTP Upload Information.”

I will try to uninstall/install again.

    P.S.

I deleted FileZilla FTP Client prior completing the 4 new automatic installs of WordPress, and DID NOT INSTALL any other FTP Client. GoDaddy has a File Manager feature, which is functioning as a FTP Client.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback.

The HTTP 400 error is still occuring.

Interesting that GoDaddy didn’t mention that their advanced support team is aware that they need to make adjustments on their end. That may explain why the CSR I spoke with seemed uncomfortable responding to my inquiries.

I recently switched from Windows shared hosting to Linux shared hosting, and just learned that the FilleZilla FTP Client (windows) I had previously installed is not valid for my new Linux hosting, so I am researching gFTP, because it is free.

    Thank you for responding rymelis.

I will be patient, and give it some more time.

    Thank you for responding MichaelH.

I already called Go Daddy, and switched to Linux. The CSR told me that I had installed WordPress correctly, but the Go Daddy system doesn’t support WordPress installation using Windows.

I am waiting for the update (Go Daddy said could be up to 72 hours) to be completed, before I start celebrating.
