Hi there, you are using an old version of Beaver Builder that is not compatible with WordPress 5.5. So updating should resolve the issue.
Also note, this forum is for support for BB Lite. Since you have a Premium version, please submit a ticket https://www.wpbeaverbuilder.com/beaver-builder-support/ for any follow-up related to your license etc.

Renaming the theme folder can definitely cause this issue.

I tested your DAT file with the Vantage theme and it worked okay on my end. Have you renamed the theme folder at all?
If not, a URL to the site could be helpful.

Yes, thanks. So I’ve now tested on Windows 10 with Edge and we see it there too.
Edge is now based on Chromium (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4501095/download-the-new-microsoft-edge-based-on-chromium) so that explains why it’s seen there.
We hope to get the fix out for this in a release Monday or Tuesday for Beaver Builder Lite. Unfortunately, there’s no other workaround aside from using a browser that is not Chromium based.
What operating system are you using? And what version of Edge?
Hi there,
This is actually a Chrome bug. Our developers have come up with a workaround fix until Chrome can resolve the issue (the bug has been pending for a year ). We hope to get that fix out to Lite Monday or Tuesday of next week.
Of course, do let us know if you’re using a different browser!

Hi Chris, you shouldn’t have had to do that. The only way that you would need to do that is if the main network site does not have BB activated – then update notices do not show. Unfortunately, there’s nothing we can do about that as that’s how the WP update system works with Multi-Site.
In any case, I’m glad it’s all resolved now 🙂
If you update to 2.3.2.8 for Lite or 2.3.2.9 for Premium versions, the issue should be resolved. 🙂

I work for BB and I didn’t find a ticket where you asked us about this. Could it be under another name perhaps? In any case, can you take a screenshot of the field as entered in the WP Admin so we can see the value there?
