Thanks for using Prime Mover plugin! Yes Prime Mover should work locally including XAMPP. I see that you have succeessufully created the export package and that you want to restore the package to your XAMPP Mac. The issue is that it seems it is not restored, db not updated.
There are a few reasons as to why this happening. Please check with them below one by one:- Export package is corrupted during download. You can troubleshoot this by renaming the
.wprimeextension to.tarand then extract the package manually. The purpose of this renaming is simply to check if the package isn’t corrupted. See if it includes complete set of files, e.g.1.sqlisn’t empty or its there. Media/plugin/theme files are there. Just a quick check. - See if you have restored the site correctly. Sometimes you might have several sites in your local and there is some error in your Apache configuration. Even though restore is OK but hosts file or e.g. points to different sites. This is not a Prime Mover issue but more on Apache site configuration. XAMPP Mac might have some permission issues that prevents files or database from being restored.
- Also if your local configuration uses some cache, you might need to clear it and refresh it. This is to make sure the new site will load properly.
- Also try clearing and resetting your local site database using a plugin like WordPress reset. Once your database is cleared in your local, clear also the uploads folder
wp-content/uploads. This is to have a fresh WordPress install. Install Prime Mover again and restore thewprimepackage to see if it works.
If you check and tried all the above suggestions and issue still persists. Please submit us an official bug report by going to your
WordPress admin -> Prime Mover -> Contact Us. You can submit this report in your hosted site if you are unable to use this in your Mac local. Or you can go to the developer contact page if you cannot send us the report via WordPress admin.Please include the link to download this Prime Mover

Hi, today we released Prime Mover 1.2.9. We fixed a bug relating to Freemius notifications dialog that cannot be removed in the subsites dashboard (after plugin activation). But we don’t know if this is the issue you are referring to but it is worth trying.
Please update to latest version (Prime Mover 1.2.9), then clear your site cache/browser cache. Then please check; hopefully this work fine in your end.

Hello Rapidasia, thanks for creating the ticket. If you have network activated the plugin, it will ask whether to allow/continue to opt in to updates, notifications. Or you can also click Skip.
If you click “Skip”, you will be un-subscribe to notifications, updates, etc. This is from Freemius.
If you have click Skip, the pop-up should go away. If it does not go away, can you please share a screenshot of this glitch? You can upload the screenshot to any free image hosting platform.
Email is only captured if you have allowed and continue to subscribe to important updates/opt in to plugin security and feature updates notifications, and non-sensitive diagnostic tracking with freemius.com.
It is possible that the Freemius data is corrupted on the other site. Below are some recommended solutions:
- Network deactivate Prime Mover plugin.
- Install this Freemius Fixer plugin
- Network activate Freemius fixer
- Clean up data and deactivate
- Make sure Freemius fixer is deactivated
- Re-activate latest version of Prime Mover
That should reset the Freemius data and check if the glitch will go away. It should not touch your existing migration backups/packages. If glitch is still there, please share the screenshot of this glitch so we will know what it is. Thanks a lot!
